Places to stay in Herkimer

We had a lovely weekend at this beautiful home. Most significant for us: bedrooms on the first floor so that our senior could get around easily. Kitchen and dining area were terrific and could host many for a meal. Kitchen has all the necessarily appliances for a full stay. The house is decorated very nicely; beds were comfortable; enough pillows for everyone; and the lounge area was super comfy when we caught up on the news. Bathrooms were great. We loved to local touches and this house is clearly set up to satisfy a range of visitors. The hosts responded so quickly when we had a question or two. Overall, this was a great choice for us as we were visiting friends nearby, and we will probably book this again on a future trip.

Another great stay at George’s during our annual ski trip to Gore. At the base of the mountain, easy check in and super clean and nice space. Looking forward to returning. Thank you George!

Jessica and Sean were well prepared for our visit over a long Thanksgiving weekend that brought surprise snow. They communicated and cared about our welfare, plowed and salted walkways and driveway with great responsiveness. It was a joy to visit with family and spend time in this homey location.

We wish we could have stayed longer, ours was just an overnight stay. The bed was super cozy and comfortable and we slept well. Thank you Elizabeth.

We stayed here for the eclipse and had an amazing time!! This place is beautiful! Mike is so friendly and had great hiking recommendations, and even looked up nearby eclipse events for us. The kitchen lives up to it's name and we were so comfortable. I definitely recommend it!

Kerry & John were the best hosts I’ve ever had. I was having a hard time finding a place to live during my transition from NYC back home to Upstate. The experience staying at their place made my life so much easier. They were willing to work with me while I found an apartment. Kerry & John always responded immediately if I had any problems or questions.. I definitely felt like they cared about me as an actual guest, I’ve never experienced something like that before staying at an Airbnb! I will say, the place does have a rustic feel- but it truly grew on me. The place has a charm to it. It’s not super fancy but it feels peaceful and warm. After living in the big city, the quiet and peacefulness I truly appreciated. I enjoyed being close to Pulaski. A local restaurant down the road grew on me “Deja Brew”, it is now my favorite place to eat. Staying here you are close to Salmon River Falls, the Kallet theatre in Pulaski, and even EIR a local healing spa!

We went to Cooperstown for my hubbys 40th. This home is about a 5 minute drive to downtown Cooperstown and we were really happy for the privacy and comfort of a home. The kitchen had everything we needed and the equipment and utensils etc were is wonderful shape and made cooking feel at home. The home was very comfortable for our family of four which included an infant- she slept well in the provided travel crib which we really appreciated. Dave was very responsive. We recommend this lovely well equipped home for your travel!

Awesome place and perfect location while attending a wedding at Dibble’s Inn. No issues at all. Place was spotless. Great host!

We enjoyed our stay. It was a relaxing, cozy place to be with our pups. The king size bed was very comfortable. We would stay there again.
