We loved Josh’s place. Everything was top notch and modern looking. Place was super clean. Bedrooms and furniture were comfy. Great location in the woods so it was quiet and peaceful. Loved the hot tub and firepit. Can’t say enough great things and hope to be back next year !!!

This was an especially great place for a family or group getaway. Everything was fully stocked from linens and towels to kitchen necessities. The most fun was the open space on the top floor with kitchen, dining, living and game room all in one big area. We were able to be together the whole time. The weather was cold and rainy so we just stayed inside and had a wonderful time playing ping-pong, pool and lots of board games while simultaneously cooking and making snacks! We had a blast and I hope we can do it again. Thank you Dan and Nicole!

This place was absolutely amazing from the beautiful surroundings to the lovely decor. We felt right at home at Heart Desire. With the lovely gas fireplace and central heat we were always warm and toasty! It is also great how this location is just about 15mins away from a Target as well as other stores and restaurants. I also really appreciate how quick and responsive the host were when we had a bit of trouble checking in. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and can't wait to hopefully stay again (maybe in the summer this time!) P.S. If you like ducks you're in for a treat!

Melinda was an exceptional host very responsive and attentive. Her place exceeded our expectations, it was even better than described! Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared. My group and I had a fantastic time and truly appreciated the comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Beautiful house that was even nicer than the pictures! Super clean and you can tell Matt takes pride in keeping this home in great shape. Definitely something for everyone, as both the adults and teenagers had a fun and relaxing time. The game room was a great bonus for the kids and we all enjoyed the perfect outdoor setting and clean hot tub. We brought our ATV and had a blast on all the trails reachable from right in the back yard! Matt was very responsive and we couldn't have asked for a better rental experience. Highly recommended and we definitely plan to be back!

Thank you so much Roxanne and Stan! This was the perfect place for my family including our dog. We had an incredible stay and loved every minute. My favorite part was waking up to the beautiful view from the kitchen. The place is so beautiful and we felt at home. My kids didn’t want to live and neither did my husband and I. We loved our extended stay here. Bare bones house but exactly what was pictured. The shower in the en-suite is fantastic. I would only change the window treatments in the main bedroom they are too small to actually block the sun. Also the pool table is not full size and there are no tables to put drinks on etc. bring your own mugs too. All in all we had a good time and would stay here again. Thank you!

Older house but very comfortable. Two bedrooms upstairs are railroad so you will have to walk through one to get to the other. One bathroom but it's nice and well stocked. Nice views into the farms and valleys. Only issue we had was one of my friends was afraid of the old house noises from the wind. Great for families or a few friends looking for a low key place to stay

This is our 2nd stay @ “Pinewood Retreat” because we absolutely LOVED this home the 1st time (4/2024)!!! We love this property so much that we have decided to make this an annual family trip. The pictures are accurate & the home is lovely. It is family (kid) friendly, which is very important to us. It also has a reclining chair that is a must-have for my husband. He & I, along with our 3 adult children, their spouses & their kids will continue to enjoy this property for as long as it is available. We’ll be back in 2026…

My husband and I were in the area to do some hiking at Hickory Run State Park with another couple. Adem's place was about 20 minutes away, easy to find, and perfect for the four of us for one night. The pool and Foosball tables were a fun extra, although that room was quite cold. We all enjoyed a comfortable evening in and great night's sleep!

House as described, so you get what you expected. I spent three night with my wife and 4 kids, we loved and enjoy this place but the weather was so cold outside so we had to look for indoor activities for kids to play, so we went to NOVA Trampoline Park (50 min) Drive but was worth it. also there are Walmart 20 min drive from this house we bought whatever we need to cook. we did enjoyed the BBQ and the Hot tub. the house so clean and the host Peter is great. this community doesn't have any indoor pool or gym or soccer playground that's why we went to NOVA Trampoline spent few hours there they have indoor soccer field with is my favorites' kids activities.
