Vacation rentals in Herbertville

We had an exceptional family holiday here over Christmas. An extended family, with babies and elderly, all enjoyed themselves tremendously. We counted 22 bird species seen from the deck. The views of the Tararuas are great. The house is excellent, fully equipped with all the cooking gear needed. Thanks for a memorable stay!

We stayed for a long weekend for a girls weekend and to do a long day walk on a Saturday. Beautiful spot to relax for a weekend or if you’re planning a hike around the area. The cottage had everything we needed and more and we definitely left feeling like we had a mini vacation! Richard was great at communicating and making sure our time spent at the cottage was wonderful. The pool was an absolute treat after our hike and the spa also to stargaze. Thank you!

Castlepoint is one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

It was exactly what I needed! Peace in the country by the river, among farms, olive groves and vineyards. Vernette left me a thoughtful card and gift for my birthday (why I was getting away!) which made it even better. 💙

Family gathering for 9 of us staying and another half dozen visited for a lunch. Plenty of space for all. Excellent location and the house was really useable for a large group. Weather was good but this space would be great in summer or winter. Would stay again.

I really appreciated our short stay. The kitchen had a range of equipment I could cook with. Easy to clean up in every room. Great layout and my family really liked it. I would recommend this place. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely little farm cottage that fit all 5 of us in perfectly! The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the house had everything we needed. The wood burner in the lounge was cranking and kept us all very warm and cosy, especially with all the double glazed windows too. There was an amazing selection of DVD's that kept us entertained and my son was very taken with the flag pole (especially once he found some flags he could raise and lower!) It had a lovely big garden and everything was clean on our arrival. It was easy to clean for the next guests with all cleaning supplies provided. Amazing value for money - we will definitely visit again :) Thank you!
