We are located in the Namib Desert in the quiet holiday town of Henties Bay. Our house is situated on the north dune right on the beach. Your space will be the private open plan 2-bedroom loft apartment adjacent to the main house with a breathtaking view of the Atlantic ocean. This is a wonderful location for the active person, jogging or strolling on the remote beaches or simply sitting on the balcony enjoying the peace and tranquility of nature.
“This apartment is absolutely stunning - the photographs really do not do it justice. It was spotlessly clean (despite us turning up a day early) and it really is right on the beach. Mile upon mile of pristine sand and dunes with hardly another soul around - it is also within easy striking distance of supermarkets, restaurants and anything else that the traveler could need. Emma the housekeeper is a beautiful soul and very helpful. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could!”
You will hear the waves crashing, you will smell the sea and you will experience the full beauty of the oscean right on your door step. The apartment is perfect for a family of four or five. If you are a big group you can also book the house right next door that can sleeps an additional nine people.
“As described in the listing! The flat is a-joined to a full house also available for rent, so if both are rented out the neighbors can be noisy, luckily on our visit they were not to bad. Beautiful sea view from living room, not main bedroom though. Would visit again for a good coastal getaway”
A light, open apartment situated right on the Namib desert! This beautiful apartment is about 2km from the centre of town and the beach. It is a five minutes walk from the dunes and desert, where camels can also frequently be seen!
“Amazing place to stay! We were especially lucky because we had to book a bit last minute but we were pleasantly surprised but Charmaine's place. I wish we had booked for longer! From the tasteful decor, readily available amenities (soap, shampoo, toilets, additional linens), well-equipped kitchen, to the small touches like board games, magazines and travel guides, it was overall a lovely, private accommodation. There were even some chairs outdoors, so you could enjoy some sun or have some alfresco dining. Alternatively, the recliner chair indoors was great to relax in after a long day. Charmaine was a great host and I can't wait until we can return to Swakopmund again!”
