We had a truly wonderful stay at Anthony’s spectacular home in Windermere. The house itself is beautifully maintained with all the amenities a family could need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. One of our favorite features was the garden and the lovely conservatory — perfect for morning coffee or winding down in the evening. Located within a private community, the property felt very safe and serene, giving us a real sense of comfort throughout our stay. It’s just a short 4-minute drive to the charming town of Bowness, where we enjoyed exploring the shops and dining at some great restaurants. Plus, it’s conveniently located for day trips to many of the Lake District’s top attractions. Anthony was a fantastic host — very communicative and accommodating, especially with a flexible check-in that really helped us out. We highly recommend this place and are already looking forward to coming back again!

A really lovely accomodation that met our needs. Spacious caravan that easily accomodared 2 adults, 3 teenagers and 2 dogs. We felt at home there and it was really well equipped. The site where it is situated is idyllic and beautiful with lovely walks and beaches. We qould love to return for a longer stay to explore more of this beautiful piece of Scotland. Thank you for having us!

We had a fantastic time at Michelle’s lodge, it was very relaxing. Beautiful views, lovely walks and the sun hit the front balcony most of the day. The hot tub was amazing, very peaceful and the onsite restaurant/pub is only a stones throw away. Highly recommend King William restaurant, it is a car drive or an hour walk but really lovely. Thank you Michelle for the perfect home from home stay x

We had a lovely 4-night stay at Teapot Cottage over Easter 2025. The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything our family of five needed. The location was peaceful and picturesque—perfect for a relaxing break. The hot tub was a highlight—clean and ready to enjoy on arrival which was great for unwinding in the evenings. Inside, everything was well-equipped, from the kitchen to the cosy living areas. Communication from the host, Lammisa, was excellent throughout. Clear instructions were provided, and she was quick to respond to any questions. We’d happily recommend this place to others and would definitely return for another family getaway. Thank you again for a lovely stay!

Absolutely perfect! We love staying here, it has everything you need to feel immediately at home, relaxed and comfortable. The surrounding countryside is just beautiful and the views from the hot tub are what makes staying here even more special! Catherine and Ian are very attentive hosts and Catherine was very responsive to any questions we had. We love this cottage and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, private, relaxing and very special place to stay in the Lake District.

A great find. Beautiful rural location and very easy parking. The cottage was spacious and very comfy with all you could want for a short or long stay. I really enjoyed staying here and there were some great walks available from the front door. Penelope was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return.

Fantastic stay. Suburb location, Great for exploring. Everything you could need in one place. Sea, lake, mountains, moors, even found a trig. Our sons loved it. Would definitely return. Home from home with everything you could need for your stay. Beds really comfortable loved the little details and even the fleece blankets for extra comfort. Thank you we will definitely book again.

The cottage is a wonderful place to stay when exploring the Western Lake District and coastline. It’s tucked away in a quiet corner and has a lovely enclosed garden perfect for your furry companion . The cottage itself is surprisingly spacious, comfortable and decorated cosily. Sue was the perfect host and checked in to make sure our elderly parents had the best stay. We absolutely loved our Christmas at Seaglass Cottage. The hosts were great, answered any questions, gave us detailed instructions for check-in and even put up a Christmas tree and decorations for us. We were very lucky with the weather, enjoying walks along the beach right outside, we even found some seaglass (we felt like children!). The property was very clean, the bedding smelled so fresh, the kitchen had everything you might need, very clean bathroom and handy downstairs loo. Every evening we would sit in the cosy conservatory enjoying a glass of wine, watching the sun go down, people walking along the beachpath with their dogs and then into the lounge for a real log fire. It was perfect and we can't wait to return!

We recently stayed at Richmond House for a week in April. This property was ideally situated, walkable to town and the amenities. The property itself was of a high specification and ideal for a first trip with a 6month old! Thank all for an amazing stay in a fantastic property Luke & Laura
