What to do if your home host doesn’t allow services

Some home hosts don’t allow services to take place at their property. If a service isn’t allowed at your place, you won’t be able to book that location.

If you still want the service, you have a few options:

  • Find another home: if you want the service, but it’s not allowed at your home, you’ll need to find a different home or location.
  • Check with the service host for alternative locations or options: Message the service host and ask if the service can be provided at another location. Some may have a physical location available (ex: If you booked a dinner, ask if they have a restaurant or if they can deliver the food to you).
  • Cancel your service reservation: If the service can’t take place where you’re staying and no alternative is available, you can cancel your service for a refund as long as you’re within the cancellation window
