Great house with everything you need for a family holiday on the water, the location couldn’t be better! The kids loved all sleeping together in the big bunk room & the parents enjoyed a bit of space! The kids spent hours in the garage/games room too so the house was well equipped with activities.

We all had a very relaxing time. ad fun feeding the horses. My niece is still talking about going down the hill on the go-carts. Sitting on the veranda and watching the sun go down and just allowing ourselves to have some time out. peace to all.

We loved our stay here, it really is a beautiful spot, watching the sun go down over the mountains. The cabin has a lovely private outlook and is well equipped, good size bathroom and was exactly as described. The dogs loved running around the grassed danced area, would stay again!

We had such a wonderful long weekend at Somerset Dreams. The house was lovely and all the amenities were modern and clean. The tiny details made the property really special! Most comfortable beds ever! The house has a stunning view of the Dam and plenty of parking space. The host was also most understanding and accommodating when we had to leave our boat on the property after a trailer breakdown! We loved everything about this house and will be planning future family holidays here!

Our extended family loved staying in Matt’s home. We stayed four nights for my niece’s wedding at Gabbinbar. The home was so comfortable, well equipped and spacious. Lots of areas indoors and outdoors on the enormous verandah for entertaining plenty of guests. The table tennis was a hit and so was the sweet little terrier Poppy who visited us every day. We had a couple of gatherings there and enjoyed the wonderful Budgee Valley steak and sausages on the BBQ with the family. Matt was a super responsive host and excellent communicator. I would thoroughly recommend this home in Mount Rascal for a truly, comfortable stay for large groups or extended family. Thanks Matt !

This cute little house is serviceable with full amenities and a lovely deck to relax on out the back. It's no frills but the beds were comfy, the linen was fresh and clean and our host was very responsive and friendly. It covers all base needs and we had nothing to complain about at all. Really dog friendly with a secure yard and the removable gate for the deck was a handy addition! Close walk to the main street where there are shops and a market on the Saturday morning. The cemetery across the road makes for a really interesting afternoon stroll and the shops at the bottom of the street have some fun shopping. The air conditioners worked well on a very hot day and ample towels were provided. The bathroom is quite old and didn't feel as fresh as it could but still provided our basic needs and the water is steady and warm. An all round lovely stay, thankyou!

We had a great stay at the studio. It is perfect for two people for a couple of days and was a good base and is accurately shown in photos. The studio was comfy, clean and well equipped, as were the facilities in the building. The air con worked really well which is always a bonus! Chris was very responsive and kindly organised for us to have access even though arriving late at night. Chris also gave us a heads up when the cyclone was due, which was appreciated as we weren’t completely familiar with the area and possible impacts.
