I am very happy with the overnight stay in the cabin! I needed a quiet day for recovery and that was exactly what I got! Markus was so hospitable and helpful. In the evening when I arrived, he lit the sauna and it was so dreamy to sauna and then be able to go out in the fresh air and see the lambs and the sheep jump around in the pasture. In the morning I did a workout in the gym in the barn, while the hens were poking around the yard. An idyll! Here I come back. The cottage had such a kind energy as well.

A fantastic cabin near the woods - Öyvind and Cecelia provide everything you could possibly want and the place is very, very clean. Sometimes you stay at places and still feel like you need to re-wash the dishes or don't dare go with bare feet but the cabin was spotless which I really really appreciate. Lots of walking trails nearby and with wi-fi and a large TV to cast to - I was able to get a lot of work done while having the ability to relax and unplug. I will definitely be back from my next mini-sabbatical. Thank you both!

Per and Carina are extremely helpful and kind hosts. The place is absolutely amazing, it’s clear they have put all their hearts to furnish the place and make us feel at home 😍 the kitchen is super well equipped, including all the baking accessories, pans, coffee machine, oven etc which for us was important. Lovely view and cozy glass-patio to spend long summer evenings in ❤️ the place also feels very private. I can’t recommend it enough!

Newly renovated cottage close to nature

The cabin is very nice and equipped with everything you could ever need. There are several other cabins all around and yet it is very quiet. We particularly enjoyed the terrace with sliding glass door, the proximity to the water and that there were screens everywhere. It was a great vacation and we would love to come back sometime.

Between national park and nature conservation area - an oasis

If you are a nature lover you absolutely must book a cottage at Calle! A wonderful place in the middle of the forest, surrounded by a national park. Total peace and quiet :) From the cottage there is a view of the lake, you can drink coffee in the morning on the terrace and enjoy the view. The cottage also has a sauna, and next to the pier - you can cool off in the lake :) Calle provides kayaks and fishing equipment, there is a place for a bonfire, and there are beautiful forests all around. The host is super helpful and friendly. It was a great stay!
