We slept super well! It's very well insulated from the road. Not very large but pleasant and well-equipped! And restaurants and convenience store right next door!

The stay at this wonderful place is highly recommended. We were received very warmly by Karl, received a small briefing for all the amenities that the apartment brings with it and even received a small welcome gift from the region. Afterwards we could enjoy the wonderful view, the pool (without chlorine) and the sauna. The apartment is equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back. The accommodation exceeded our expectations.

Jean is a real host: friendly, helpful and quick and clear in his communication. We thoroughly enjoyed in and around this house. The weather was sublime in May: around 30 degrees Celsius. The (heated!) swimming pool and covered courtyard were wonderful to stay!! The holiday home has two floors. No air conditioning, but sun-proof shutters. The two bathrooms have a sloping ceiling which is a bit helpful for tall people, but this was not a problem for us. The kitchen in the house is equipped with really everything! In addition, you can also cook outside (BBQ, outdoor kitchen, fridge) in the warm season. There is much to do in the immediate vicinity. Jean sent us a long list of excursions up front. He also gave info about shopping, bakers, and more. We felt welcome and at home. We will definitely be back!

Very nice place From the outside, you feel that it is below expectations, but from the first time you enter, you forget the shape of the outer cottage is very neat and clean and the host is great

We had a lovely extended weekend at Isabelle's place. The apartment is very cozy, nicely spacious and impeccably clean. We particularly liked the beautiful large kitchen, and the view from the windows of a stork's nest and the castle :) The location in Katzenthal is great for excursions - we drove to Colmar and the Vosges, to Colmar it only takes a few minutes by car. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Thank you again!

A house that lives up to its name! The house of the sun left us with an excellent memory Three months in an authentic vacation spot…. Sun, calm, spaces arranged in a way that could not be more functional and harmonious… we left with regret and dream of returning! The place is too clean and tastefully furnished Very accessible from major roads, easy to visit the area. Parking right in front of the house I would recommend it without hesitating

The accommodation is absolutely adorable and functional! The village is quiet and allows you to recharge your batteries before going back to visit the area. The accessories are great, sometimes surprising😉. We couldn't enjoy the garden but maybe another time ... Thank you Patrick and Carine for this fabulous cozy nest.

Very nice house and location, a large area in the courtyard where you can organize a barbecue, for which everything is provided, we and the children really liked the table for tennis, what the children would do, the fireplace is also a separate plus, created coziness in the evenings, the rooms are cozy and clean, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need and even more, very comfortable beds and clean linen. We highly recommend this house to visit unforgettable France!

The apartment was spotless and very well-equipped - everything you need for cooking, including an oven, was there. Towels and all essentials were also provided. Perfect for families with kids - we stayed with our 2-year-old daughter and felt right at home. Gérard welcomed us warmly and explained everything. We were 3 couples who wanted to explore Basel by bike. The location, about 25 from the city center, was perfect. The house is equipped with everything we needed. We were also able to use the great terrace a lot. The house is equipped with a lot of love for detail and even if you hear the planes taking off from the Euroairport during the day, the nights are completely quiet. I'm sure we'll be back!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay hosted by Michel, Petra, and Molly too! Elsenheim is beautiful in the winter and we were near many exciting locations, including delicious restaurants, friendly bakeries, and delightful villages. The apartment is located in a spacious private courtyard next to their farm. It was immaculately clean, newly renovated, and filled with all the amenities we needed. The kitchen was perfect for preparing meals. We appreciate all the thoughtfulness put into making our stay a most comfortable one. Thank you Michel and Petra. You are great hosts and we would definitely recommend this place to all who are visiting the Alsace region.

Beautiful house in a quiet area. Everything you need is in the house and the beds are very good. We liked to have blinds before the windows in the bedrooms. Nice quiet garden.

This apartment is perfect. In a great location, renovated apartment in a 1500 BC building. It is close to everything, quiet, well decorated. Amazing communication and extremely helpful and friendly. I wouldn't change a thing. Recommend this highly!!!!

Looking for a last-minute Airbnb for one night, we booked the place only 1 hour before we arrived. However, this was not a problem since we were welcomed as we should be and Carole's responsiveness allowed us to spend a great evening in an atypical accommodation, located in a beautiful setting. The accommodation was clean, tidy and had a lot of amenities. The "shower hallway" really made the experience extraordinary and we highly recommend this listing for its quality and the friendliness of its host!
