Here you can relax and enjoy your evening in our hot tub, take a walk to visit our calm and gentle horses, we also own a beautiful lake and we are "forest farmers" i.e. we plant 10.000 trees each year and we can highly recommend a stroll through our young forest to the lake. There will be sheep, chicken, cats and dogs around and next to the house there is a beautiful old church:)

PLEASE NOTICE: The island is located in the northern part of Iceland. It is a five-hour drive from Reykjavik. And you need to take a ferry to get there. No cars, pedestrians only. Absolutely wonderful place. Exactly as described. Breathtaking views. Well equiped. Amazing deck from which to watch the fjord and a stunning sunrise. The hot tub was easy to use and a great asset to the property. Lovely walks nearby. Take the binoculars with you and if you spot a whale watching boat do pay attention to them, we saw whales from the island. 10min walk into the village. The Nespresso coffee machine was a lovely surprise (including a lot of capsules) Was hoping for a peaceful relaxing break and that is exactly what we got. Hope to come back again.

It would be an understatement to say that our time at Swany's Airbnb as pure magical. There is no doubt I'd book there again when I revisit Iceland again. Everything during our stay there was just wonderful. From the magical uniqueness of the place, to the picturesque skies, to the peaceful neighborhood, to Swany's hospitality, i feel so lucky to have found this place.
