Lawrence and his wife bought us fresh cinnamon buns on Saturday morning as a treat! Was a great surprise! Sorry we didn’t get to enjoy his famous fries! One of the funniest individuals my three brothers and I have had the pleasure of conversing with! He s a comedian at heart and offers a great slice of heaven to enjoy on a beautiful property and accommodations! Lots of cool places to hang out and relax on the property! We will be making a return visit for sure!

Dunesview Beach House at Sandbanks-Pass Included

A lovely cabin with great facilities at hand including bicycles and kayak. Lisa and Gerry made us very welcome. The location is excellent for the national park- the free entry pass included is a nice touch. All mod and cons in the cabin. There is a ceiling fan to help keep cooler. Lisa and Gerry were extremely accommodating with our extra requests.

Swan Cove Cottage License number ST- 2019-0148

KimberlyRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Sally and the Swan Cove Cottage were incredible! Sally was very responsive and accommodating. The cottage itself was ideal. Due to the loss of my dad in December, I booked on fairly short notice and headed north! The cottage was close to friends so that I could visit with them, or enjoy the peace of the cottage. It being the beginning of January, the porch may not have gotten the use it could’ve, but I loved the option. I arrived very early am, and the cottage was warm and ready. Thank you Sally for an incredible stay!
A simple sleeping area features a wooden frame bed with a partially covered mattress and a nightstand beside it. A blue curtain hangs over a window, and a small basket is positioned on the floor nearby, adding practicality to the space.

Robin's Cabana

EmilyRating, 5 stars8 months ago
I stayed here for two nights and had a great experience. The cabin and porta potty was clean and kitchen area had most things you may need to cook. Pat was very helpful and brought me a kayak and left me firewood to use (10$ each as described on the listing). I was alone the first night and second night stayed with a very nice couple - as a female travelling alone, I felt very safe as the owner’s home is very close by on the property. Pat checked in everyday to see how I was and if I needed anything. There is a beach within a couple minutes walk from the property and was very clean to swim in. I was able to relax and enjoy the serenity and also explore the area (Bonnechere provincial park and the Killaloe market). First night I heard some wolves (awesome) and second night I did not sleep well since it was raining and very loud - the cabin was still great and bed was very comfy. I will definitely come back, thanks Pat and Gasheida!!!

Private Lake Cabin. Relax, enjoy nature in Canada.

JasonRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Darren has found a real gem here on Sweets Lake. We feel lucky to have spent the week there. The road side of the cabin has a nice fire pit with a real charcoal grill and picnic table with lots of room to hang out with a ton of trees around. If you prefer shade you can have it all day. If you prefer sun, there is a great spot on the little wrap around deck to sit and enjoy, or down the stairs at the dock there was sun all day every day. The water is crystal clear and gets deep fast. There is no problem jumping off the dock. I'm not sure what's in the lake but we caught some bass and a pike. The cabin itself is small but really cool. If you catch a chill the little wood stove heats it up in 2 minutes. The folks in Coe Hill are all super friendly. The Mercantile store at the turnoff was really cool with 14 rooms of various wares. The week at this little cabin made me wish I had a spot like this. OH, the outhouse is the cleanest and nicest I've ever seen with a view!

Big Tiny

SarahRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Stayed at Big Tiny for the weekend to celebrate my birthday with my husband and our 3 year old son. Our stay here was beyond expectations, the place was clean and smelled good! Everything was easy to find and to use, following the clear instructions left by our lovely host Jenise. We were surprised at how private the surroundings were and we loved exploring the property with our son, he had a blast, seeing the horses, exploring the mineral rock area, and our little walks through the forest. It was such a memorable stay for us all and we definitely will be coming back to visit again! note* for visitors with young children: the ladder to the upper level of the home is very steep, our son was careful not to go up and down by himself so we didnt have any issue with it. Also the bed is a little tight for 2 adults and one child, especially if your child likes to kick in their sleep! lol the downstairs sofa can convert into a single bed though so that is another option.

Secluded Nature Chalet-4 Season Retreat & Water

AmalieRating, 5 stars3 months ago
My husband and I had a lovely week-long stay at the Secluded Nature Chalet over Christmas! Lisa's and Ian's attention to detail was evident from the start, with thoughtful touches like a handwritten card and welcome gifts awaiting us upon arrival. The house is cozy yet modern, with an impressively well-equipped kitchen. The bathroom felt luxurious, featuring a rain shower and a large bathtub—especially with the small bath amenities thoughtfully provided by our hosts. The property offers a perfect blend of forested tranquillity and access to Bark Lake. We loved the beautiful view from the house and the daily visits from squirrels on the terrace. The snowshoes and hiking poles the host lent us made exploring the area even more enjoyable. Lisa was very responsive and quick to resolve a minor heating issue. Her attentiveness ensured a smooth and pleasant stay.

Carla was super friendly and really responsive! She met us when we got there and showed us around the property. The cabin had everything we needed, including a TV, a nice grill outside, and an outdoor fireplace that was awesome. We loved that they had pedal boats and kayaks for us to explore the beautiful lake, where we even saw some deer by the shore. It was such a great time, and we’re definitely coming back!

Off Grid Cabin, knitter’s retreat!

AustinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
An absolute gem of a find! The property is so beautiful with so much to see and do. Cheryl and her husband are one of a kind! They explained to us how they upkeep their farm, they even have a roadside shop selling all farm grown goodies. We were able to collect eggs, see the honey bees, admire the sheep, bathe in the claw tubs (super easy to use), stargaze and become buddies with their sweet dog Ode. We will definitely be back!

The cabin location felt like it was out in the deep wilderness but is only two hours from toronto. It is easy to get by car and easy access with the lit pathway( to access you must “carry in” your items and does offer carts to make that easier . The cabin is perfect for two people to enjoy and getaway from the city pace. The cabin has a great fire pit comfortable beds, a small outdoor capable kitchen with a table perfectly fit for two with two good sized beds set up bunk bed style. A must visit and a must return location.

We had a great time at this cabin. We were immediately greeted upon arrival and had clear instructions from the host. a very well thought out cabin and we appreciated the hospitality! There was a storm week ago which meant a lot of nearby trails were blocked due to fallen trees and branches, but plenty else to enjoy otherwise.

Picton Creekside Retreat

DeborahRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had a terrific 2 day stay at the Creekside Retreat with our pup Penelope! Everything was as described, no disappointing surprises, in fact, we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. Very dog friendly, with a park and dog park across the road and, the close proximity to the many shops and restaurants on Main St made the location ideal! If you are visiting Picton and Prince Edward County with or without you dog, we highly recommend staying Creekside Retreat.
