The lodge was clean & well furnished& equipped. Linda is a great host. Communicative & proactive. Very friendly. We'll return for a longer stay.

We love it here! So peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful views of the lake and loved the walks and kayaking! This was our third stay. Jasmine and Jason are great hosts. There was an issue with the Keurig, and they came and replaced it with a brand new one the next day! Thank you Jasmine and Jason for a great stay!

We really enjoyed staying at Nancy's little farmhouse. It was perfect for us. We especially loved the back porch room where we could relax and enjoy the beautiful view as well as seeing the variety of farm animals in the backyard. The house was as mentioned in her listing and had everything we needed. I would recommend this farmhouse to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing place to stay. I would love to go back someday.

Upon arrival we were greeted by an owl! This place is magical and has absolutely gorgeous surroundings. Definitely rustic, but as expected 🙂

We had a great stay while in town for a family wedding. The house had everything we needed for our family, which included two toddlers and a dog. The deck was a great feature and they even had extras for pets (like a dog bed) at the home. Would recommend!

June is an exceptional host. She went above and beyond to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. She is the perfect blend of attentive and laid back. Her place is so charming and welcoming- exactly what we were looking for in a peaceful getaway. Our dog had the best time jumping off the dock into the pond. We’ll definitely be back for another stay.

Is a great place. Clean, comfortable. It is a basement apartment so the ceilings and doorways are lower than a normal house. I am 6 ft 5 in tall and I did not hit my head on the ceiling but the doorways were low where my hair would brush up. The bathroom sink and mirror were low also but all things were workable. I am NOT faulting her place at all. I am just tall. I will stay here again on my next trip to Connecticut. Elizabeth is nice and friendly. Once in a while you would hear the cat chasing the dog upstairs. but I just laughed at it. No noise was ever constant or non-stop. Slept very well. The early evening you would hear a train whistle way in the background almost like clockwork. Not disturbing, made it peaceful like you were in a small town country place. The river was nice. Hearing the river and wildlife was nice after a 10 hour workday. Highly recommend this for a stay. Only thing- wish the security light went on at 3am when I left. Hard to see going up the outside stairs.

Always amazing today at Jitka’s oasis… love the location, space and the added touch of her artwork . Jitka and her husband are amazing hosts, and I always look forward to returning … highly recommend ❤️

This place is absolutely gorgeous. I spent quite a bit of time just exploring the grounds with my dog. It was too cold to use the pool but it was still beautiful to look at and a nice view while I was cooking/washing dishes. I appreciate the tour I received when I arrived to show me around. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to book again in the future.

The Villa was exactly as described! Easy communication with owner. A perfect getaway weekend, every amenity we could want or need! Look forward to visiting again in the near future!

Very nice place, beautiful big deck, awesome creativity to the lighting around the property. A walking path, fire pit, hot tub, big deck to relax on, and a fully equipped stage. It is a step above camping but not quite glamping. A lot of fun, and Apple is a sweet bonus hostess.

We had an excellent stay while attending our son's graduation at UCONN. The place was clean and homey, perfect when traveling back and forth. Our plans changed and we did not bring our dog, and Ashley was kind enough to refund us. My son goes back to UConn in the fall for his master's, and we know where we will stay again next May.

Highly recommend Patrick and Monica’s location. You feel right at home when you walk! The pool and patio views are breathtaking. The beds are very comfortable. Patrick was super responsive to my messages regarding restaurants.

This is a wonderful property that is close to everything we like to do! Krista is a wonderful host and I’m always excited if her place is available.

The place was really nice and the host was great! Don’t get discouraged if the power goes out during your stay cause apparently that’ll happen 2-4 times a year according to the host. Other than that I highly recommend

My sister and I needed a place to stay in our hometown for a family get together. Laura’s Loft was the perfect location! The loft, and the neighborhood, is pleasant and quaint. We had everything we needed for our stay, including delicious scones to start our day! When we return we are certainly going to see if Laura’s place is available. Thanks for being an amazing host 😌

I wish I could give all the kudos this Airbnb actually deserves. Every detail is meticulously addressed. Treats for the guests, sumptuous bedding that is reminiscent of grandma’s bedding with homemade quilts and soft cool sheets. Colors that reverberate the entire aesthetic of the property. Games and quiet places of reflection. Shower amenities and wonderful bath linens. I simply love this place. It’s a short distance to The Library, which is a great place for dining. The home is quiet and reserved. Their love for their home and garden is reflected in every aspect of this amazing rental. I would ONLY choose Tracy and James’ home to stay when visiting Wallingford. When you stay, the only question you will have is, why can’t every Airbnb be just like this! I look forward to seeing their home & garden featured in AD when a writer shows for a visit. Lovely visit! Friendly hosts….peaceful setting. Lots of attention to detail! We really enjoyed our weekend visit and highly recommended to others.

The cabin was incredibly peaceful and comfortable. I especially enjoyed relaxing on the deck, just taking in view and sound of the rushing water from the brook. Every room has great views. It was the perfect reset for my nervous system. I'm so glad I brought my journal. Cori & Ruben were very proactive and responsive. It's abundantly evident they are genuinely committed to being environmental stewards which is inspiring.

What an awesome and unique air B&B! The space is comfortable and very quiet in the evenings and night. It is well outfitted for a family and the farm was lots of fun; we discovered our little one loves chickens. Thanks for sharing a cool experience at your farm. Highly recommended.

We did a last minute weekend with our 5 and 2 year olds and Catherine’s place was perfect. The bedrooms being upstairs away from the living area meant it was nice and quiet for the kids, they had life jackets in all sizes, and we visited a fun children’s museum 15 mins away. We had a few questions during our stay and Catherine was always quick to respond and super helpful.

We only stopped in for a night while we were on our way to NYC. It was a clean and comfortable stay and they even had little treats for us in the living room. I would definitely stay again.
