I had a wonderful stay here. The property is truly a hidden gem, with a beautiful garden that’s perfect for relaxing in the mornings or winding down in the evenings. The view from the house is absolutely stunning—whether it’s sunrise or sunset, the scenery is peaceful and picturesque. Jill was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. They were always available for questions and gave great local tips as well. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat. Sunny Stylish Spectacular views

Great location out on Otaga peninsula with beautiful views over the water. Secluded and peaceful and great for accessing all the wildlife activities on the peninsula while still being a short drive into city. Everything matched photos and nice having nespresso machine and milk frother for quick cappuccinos in morning while watching sunrise over water. We did have one small issue with hot water on 2nd morning (only one of 3 could take hot shower) but then no issue 3rd day. We believe it may have been because we did several loads of laundry night before and hot water tank may not have refilled sufficiently overnight. Tracey was very responsive and again was just a temporary issue but maybe keep an eye on laundry timing in mind. Of all the places we stayed on the South Island, this was the family favorite, given the location and views. Would highly recommend staying here and look forward to staying on return trip!

I traveled by bus to the Bach, and Tracey came to fetch me from the bus stop without any cost. As if that wasn’t enough, she took me to a near by organic shop where I got a few supplies and she offered to grab some of her fresh vegetables from the garden! My partner and I really enjoyed the beauty of this Bach and the long walk at the beach was exceptional, we couldn’t see the seal lions but we ended up at this adventurous cave and we felt like we were treasure hunters lol. We will definitely revisit this place and it’s one for the books.

I can’t recommend this place enough. A cosy little hideaway with beautiful views right atop the peninsula it’s a great base to visit the city and appreciate nature. It has everything you’d need and feels so homely. We really enjoyed doing the Triple Combo experience to see the albatross, boat trip in the bay, and see the penguins with OPERA. We also had a wonderful day exploring Dunedin seeking out the street art. Angus is the perfect host. I can’t express this enough. Utterly helpful in every way with useful tips and insights about the area that he very generously shared with us. Thank you, Angus, we have really enjoyed resting up in this wonderful bolt hole and chatting with you. It will remain a highlight of our travels.
