You have to imagine that at the end of the world and even beyond it there is a village on a mountain, which with some of its inhabitants offers a magical sight, and almost in the middle of which there is a real Szekler gatehouse, next to which there is a barn built for animals, where we are now waiting for our guests. Kismedesér is located 10 km from Székelykeresztúr, along the Gagy stream. Arriving at the gate of Behív-Lak, a wonderful panorama opens up to the dear visitor, as the house is surrounded by forest and stream. The all-pervading tranquility makes everyone happy and balanced. Arboretum Guesthouse - traditional Szekler house

The property has two Szekler wooden houses, over 100 years old each, completely “reborn”. We offer one of them for guests who appreciate built heritage, nice panorama and organic garden. We tried to preserve folk heritage, adding a vintage touch and using colorful home accessories to offer a warm and homey atmosphere. The 5100 sqm courtyard with huge ancient trees make you will feel like being in a forest. You can rest in a hammock, listen to the bird’s songs and recharge your batteries.

Each bungalow has its own bathroom, living room and equipped kitchen on the ground floor, and upstairs there are two double beds. Together with the extendable bed, located in the living room, each bungalow can accommodate 6 people. The bungalows have central heating, so they also work in winter. Located in the middle of the nature and near Bezid Lake, the place is ideal for families or groups that want to enjoy nature and the heart of Transilvania. It is close to Sovata, Sighisoara and Tirgu Mures, about half of hour by car. This house was reconditioned by us, many pieces in the house were build or refurbished. We ofer a big garden where kids can play. We have two ponies, cows and donkeys. We have a big backyard with vegetables in the summer.
