Tigers’Lair Dorsland Cottage

We offer you a special little cottage, built nearly a century ago, and carefully and lovingly restored. The cottage is close to the main farm buildings of the farm Tiger's Lair, 18 km southeast of Aranos (only 15km gravel road), a remote town in the southeast of Namibia. Great halfway stop to/from Mata Mata. We promise peace and contentment on a working farm, with sheep, goats, cattle and Arabian horses, miles and miles of beautiful red sand dunes and camel thorn trees typical of the Kalahari.

Hudup Camp 1: idyllic oasis in the semi-desert

Spacious chalet with carport. Has 220 volts of power stored from a small solar system. Each chalet is fully equipped with a small fridge, gas stove, as well as gas geyser, dishes and bed linen for 4 people each. Ideally located as a stopover on the way south. About 15 km away is the small village of Maltahöhe, with shops and a restaurant. Hudup Camp invites you to hike, or just relax. A rich birdlife awaits the visitor.

Gras Game Lodge

Gras Game Lodge is 230 km South of Windhoek, and 54 km from Kalkrand. Game can be seen here in abundance, freely roaming the savannah and bush. The beautiful main house was built in 1906 by the well-known Mr. Woermann, and is now restored to its former glory, with modern facilities added. Sundowners on the cliffs of the Fish River allows you to reflect on the events and impressions of the day.

21 Dunes refers to 21 red dunes on a working game and sheep farm in the kalahari. Our Selfcatering Units offer 2 bedrooms, extra bunker beds, aircon, 1 full bathroom and an extra guest toilet. Hot water will be provided by wood fired geysers (donkie) Solar Power. Kameeldoring wood and lamb meat for sale on the premises. Access to free Wi-Fi is available at farmhouse.
