Townhome vacation rentals in Hamrun

We enjoyed our stay. It is a charming house, in a great location: right on the waterfront in Kalkara harbour, next door to a bakery, 2 mins walk from a few local restaurants, 15 mins walk from Birgu harbour (where there is a wider range of restaurants and the ferry to Valletta). This is a characterful period property, so there are a few quirks; but all part of the charm for us. Lunch on the roof terrace was a real highlight for our family. Wendy is an excellent host, and very hands-on. When we had the only problem which came up during our stay, Wendy (and her very helpful dad!) came round immediately to fix it.

Es war ein traumhaft schöner Aufenthalt im Haus von Jean Paul. Das Haus ist noch schöner als auf den Bildern und man fühlt sich direkt wohl dort. Die Kommunikation mit Jean Paul war super. Er hat schnell geantwortet und war auch bei allen anderen Fragen schnell behilflich. Wir durften sogar später aus checken, weil unser Flug erst am späten Nachmittag startete. Ich kann die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und würde sie jedes mal wieder buchen.

The house is a great place to stay when visiting Malta. Its location is perfect. It has shops and bus stops close by. The house is a traditional Maltese townhouse. It is a spacious, well equipped house with all modern conveniences. We got an early check-in, which was much appreciated. Unfortunately I didn't check back over the listing and I forgot about the rooftop terrace. it's a bit of a climb up but it would have been nice to have breakfast up there. I would recommend a stay in this lovely home.

Frank's apartment is spacious and extremely well equipped. There are several outside spaces with plenty of seating.The location is near the ferry terminal and also close to buses which run to Victoria. From there you can get buses to elsewhere on Gozo. Frank is a most helpful host, he both picked us up from the ferry and took us back. As well as a bottle of wine, there was some food keeping warm in the oven when we arrived. Frank also took us to the local supermarket and gave us loads of information and suggestions of things to do. A great place to stay.

We enjoyed our family stay in Marion’s home. The location was perfect - a quiet street in old Rabat and close to Mdina. The beds were comfy too!

le logement est propre, calme très bien situé que ce soit pour la ville (rue calme, parking et centre à proximité) ou pour l'île car situation quasi centrale ce qui permet de se rendre rapidement (enfin lorsque l'on a appréhendé la conduite à gauche 😁) sur les différents points intéressants de l'île. Pour le logement, il y a le nécessaire et nous avons apprécié les salles de bains et toilettes pour chaque chambre. la terrasse est très appréciable pour les soirées mais aussi pour les petits déjeuners. nous recommandons ce logement et si nous devions revenir à Malte nous choisirons sans hésiter le logement de Jackie. Maison typiquement Maltaise ( soit haute/4 étages et mince) chaleureuse, hôtes acceuillants et pro actifs et surtout emplacement génial, au centre de tout ( bons restos, petites épiceries) et à 5 mns de marche de la Mdina. Il est très facile de se déplacer en bus local. Nous avons été aux Dinglis Cliffs ( au bord de la mer) en taxi et retour en bus local, très facile. Merci Le

It was a privilege to stay in Roderick's amazing beautifully restored 16th C house. The bathroom and kitchen are furnished to a high modern tasteful standard. The rest of the house is fully of wonderful antiques. It was mid winter when we went, so we didn't use the lovely court yard of roof space but they would be great for most of the year. We were met by Steve and shown around when we arrived. Later on we met Roderick. Both of them were charming hosts. The house is actually better than the photos!

Everything was great! The place was exactly as described and even better in person. It was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. Terrace for all guests on the roof! The host was welcoming and responsive, providing helpful tips, responded to messages so fast. The location was perfect – center of Naxxar, narrow streets with romantic vibes. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Malta, and I would love to stay here again. Thanks!

Die Wohnung befindet sich in Floriana in einem sehr ruhigen und sicheren Wohnviertel. Die Innenstadt ist schnell zu Fuß erreichbar und der Weg dorthin sehr schön, wenn man durch die verschiedenen Parks geht. Unterhalb der Wohnung befinden sich kostenlose Parkplätze, die Wohnung ist von dort aus über eine Treppe erreichbar. Ein Teil der Wohnung befindet sich im Keller, insgesamt ist sie leider nicht besonders hell. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, es gibt einen Innenhof mit einem Tisch und zwei Stühlen (erreichbar durch das obere Schlafzimmer und das sich anschließende Badezimmer). In der Küche befinden sich eine nicht sehr bequeme Couch und ein Tisch mit drei Stühlen. Für zwei Paare ist die Wohnung eher nicht geeignet, für Familien mit Teenagern schon eher. Ein Vorteil sind auf jeden Fall die beiden Badezimmer. Die Betten sind bequem, es ist ruhig im Haus und man ist nah bei Valletta, ohne den dortigen Trubel. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und können die Wohnung empfehlen.

The house was well equipped and comfortable. It is an unusual, quirky place to stay just a few minutes walk from great restaurants, city centre sights and the sea, and there is a handy grocery shop just round the corner. The double bed is in a room on a balcony over the kitchen/living space and one single room is divided from the kitchen/living space by a curtain. There is a separate single room with shower and toilet in the basement. The house is on four floors joined by a beautiful old stone spiral staircase. We appreciated having two balconies. There are security cameras both outside the front door and inside the entrance. Joelean was really helpful and responsive and we really enjoyed our stay in Valletta.

Martin’s apartment is spacious on two levels and in a perfect location close to the old historical streets of Valletta. If you fancy a space with vintage furniture and modern amenities, plus a small balcony from the bedroom where you can enjoy the sun or hear the sea waves by night, his apartment has all that Maltese vibe. It's close to a mini market, a bakery and a pizzeria. Martin was friendly and responsive. I recommend it.

Ho trascorso alcuni giorni fantastici a Malta e non potrei essere più soddisfatto della mia esperienza! La città è un vero gioiello, con i suoi meravigliosi paesaggi, la storia affascinante e l'atmosfera vivace. Ogni angolo offre qualcosa di unico, dalle stradine pittoresche alle splendide viste sul mare. L'alloggio in cui ho soggiornato è stato semplicemente perfetto. Era accogliente, pulito e ben attrezzato, con tutto il necessario per rendere il mio soggiorno confortevole. La posizione era ideale, permettendomi di esplorare facilmente le attrazioni locali. Un grande ringraziamento va a Pawlu co-host di Roberto il mio ospite, che è stato estremamente disponibile e gentile. Ha fatto di tutto per assicurarsi che avessi tutto ciò di cui avevo bisogno e ha fornito ottimi suggerimenti sui posti da visitare e ristoranti da provare. La sua ospitalità ha reso la mia esperienza ancora più speciale!

How to describe my stay at this soul place. There is a magic to the space, the host, and the city. Josianne was so welcoming and kind. The rooftop patio was a wonderful place to relax and view the canal and incredible city. The bed was so comfortable. Solo female travelers this place is so perfect.

Jamie was very helpful and communicative, and had left us some thoughtful items at the house as well as some guide books. The house was great and we loved the terrace at the top of the house too, which was great for sunbathing. It's on a fairly busy road, but the advantage is that the bus stop is right outside the house and buses from there will take you most places in Malta. There are some great local restaurants in walking distance from the house.

Ich war mit meiner Frau das erste Mal auf Malta. Die Unterkunft von Derek liegt in einem ruhigen historischen Viertel mit Blick auf einige wunderschöne Kirchen. Es war fantastisch! Wir haben jede Minute auf der geschützten Sonnenterasse verbracht und die Sonne und den Mond genossen. Die Wohnung war sehr, sehr sauber! Geschäfte für den kleinen Einkauf und Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir haben für Ausflüge einen Kleinwagen am Airport gebucht. Parkplätze sind in der Nähe vorhanden. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

The house is very spacious, clean and comfortable and the view from the roof is amazing. It could be a little chilly in the winter evenings but there are heaters, blankets etc. The location is perfect for exploring Valetta and surroundings. The ferry is five minutes away - you can see the house from the ferry terminal - and it's a lovely 5 minute journey across the harbour to Valetta. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants within walking distance and we also found a convenience store. The neighbourhood is pleasant and quiet- although we were there in the winter. You can also easily walk to the historic neighbourhoods of Birgu and Senglea.

This was lovely accommodation which perfectly suited our needs. Ortrud was a great host; welcoming, informative and and responsive. We enjoyed the artworks on display, the unique architectural character of the property and outdoor showering was very refreshing! We are so grateful to Ortrud and her family for sharing access to the property through airb&b. We were glad to be in the south of Malta - although we could easily have travelled all round the island from this location, we chose to stay local, visiting local historic sites, local coastal walks and local restaurants and cafes. It was a super holiday, and the use of Ortrud's house made it really special for us. ☺️☺️☺️

We enjoyed staying in this spacious traditional and peaceful house. It is so close to the seafront where you can walk for miles, lots of restaurants, Lidl, shops, bus stops, ferries to Valletta and Gozo making it easy to travel around without a car. We went to Valletta and the Three Cities, Gozo, Mdina and explored up the coast to St Julian's and Paceville. The house is clean, well equipped, quiet and peaceful, especially at night. Susanna always responded promptly and was very helpful answering questions. Many thanks!

Enjoyed a fabulous stay at Ian's place. The location is perfect if you want to appreciate an authentic Maltese town. We were sorry to leave. The only thing some may find an issue, is the lack of a separate bathroom, although we managed fine and it wouldn't put us off returning. The locals were extremely helpful and friendly and there are plenty of eateries within walking distance and cafés for coffee and 'must have' pastizzis! Local transport is easy to navigate and the ferry to Valetta on your doorstep. Would definitely recommend.
