Vacation rentals in Hampstead

Lovely place! We stayed two nights in Patricia's house visiting the north west of the island. Very well located. No so far from the town but in a calm neighbouhood Patricia's family were so welcoming and helpful. They gave us a lot of recommendations for eating, drinking and visiting places around the house. I can only recommend to stay here!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. La villa est idéale pour passer un moment de détente, très bien placée, sans oublier la vue magnifique qu'elle offre sur la baie.

Notre séjour a été fabuleux avec un accueil très agréable et sympathique. La villa est tellement agréable nous étions en famille 9 adultes, la terrasse avec son barbecue et la grande table étaient parfaite ! La grande cuisine est confortable et les chambres sont nickels Literie parfaite avec des bons coussins La piscine est très très agréable Merciiiii notre séjour restera inoubliable

Bruno's Atlantic Cabins ( Bruno Nakita's father) were just right for our first few nights. A short drive from the airport, it is on the less touristy east side. It has a beautiful garden with hummingbirds right there! A view to the sea, and an even better one a few steps away in their gazebo with hammock and . Nakita's family couldn't have been more attentive and helpful, recommending places to swim and eat nearby. A new road was being built, so their sign was down, but we had an instant response to finding them. Nearby are the Kalinago Barana Aute, a reconstructed indigenous village and Nakita's husband's Soma Gardens (enthusiastically described in the Dominica Brandt Guide. --a must have).

Where do I start with how happy I was with the stay. Let me first stay, this is my second time at Griffin Villa. That is how much I love it. The first time was 2 weeks. This time is 3 months. Sabrina was an absolutely amazing host, so helpful and responsive. The space is extremely roomy. It had everything I needed. The views are AMAZING....! If it's mango season, you can pick one from the tree beside the house. The short walk to the secluded beach was a bonus. You can catch a local bus for $4.50 EC to Roseau. There are 2 excellent restaurants in the village. The icing on the cake is Mrs. Adams. She is the person you interact with in Dominica. She will make sure your every need is met. Her enthusiasm and personality is unlike any I've encounter when staying in an AirBNB. She truly cares about making your stay memorable. I hesitated to write this review because I want to make sure it's available for me. But I know that would be very selfish. :-)

The place is super nice, exactly as described. It has a pleasant view from the terrace on a small beach. It is located very close to other bigger and very nice beach. As for the road - it is not a motorway, just a main road from the town, busy only in certain moments, but even then not too noisy (the island itself is small and quiet). The location is very convenient, there are many restaurants nearby and a grocery shop. Facilities are quite basic (plastic garden furniture), but you have everything you need. Olivier is a fantastic host, friendly and helpful.

We had the most wonderful stay. The owner was incredible. The host was incredible. The concierge was incredible. Our family of six stayed here and had no issues with hot water or staying cool. There was plenty to see in the grounds and we can’t wait to stay again. I do suggest that due to the nature of the location that you stop off in town first to get essentials like water and some snacks if you’re arriving late. The roads to the location were fine. In fact, it’s some of the best in the Caribbean. Would 100% recommend anyone to stay here.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Francky et Val qui sont des hôtes accueillants et très sympathiques. Le joli bungalow Kazakif est très bien situé sur les hauteurs de Grand Bourg avec une vue incroyable sur la mer et ses sunset. Le bungalow est bien ventilé avec les alizés et le jardin fleuri est très beau avec de magnifiques palmiers. Un endroit très agréable pour séjourner en toute tranquillité.
