Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Hampden County

We love the North Street Nest! It is bright, clean, and comfortable. We have stayed there two times now, and both were excellent. Other family members stayed in an adjacent apartment on a different floor; that offered additional convenience and a chance to be all together, at times. Susan is a gracious host who respects the tenants' privacy and is also willing to offer help and advice, if needed. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our visit and the house was welcoming, charming, very clean, and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and flexible about our late arrival time. There was also delicious coffee for us in the morning!

Our plane was delayed several times and our arrival time of 5pm was pushed back to midnight. There was no lockbox so Olena wanted a face-to-face check-in and waited up till that ungodly hour. Her lovely, well-appointed house is right next to a dense woods and no other houses are visible from Olena's. As a result we experienced complete, total silence during the sleeping hours. Although others lived in the house on the floors above ours (basement), we rarely heard or saw them and felt we had an apartment all to ourselves even though we entered through the main door. Our bedroom was the largest I've had in an AirBnB and had copious storage and furniture: closet, drawers, two chairs, desk, etc. The bed size is double (not Queen) and is actually a futon but, nonetheless, was quite comfortable. We were often greeted upon entering by Olena's large and friendly dog. We hope that her place is free during our next Northampton visit.

Our little family booked a last minute trip to see the foliage and Denise’s place was perfect! The house is beautiful with so many interesting details and history. I was nervous bringing a toddler into an historic home, but Denise and the other guests were so welcoming and kind. Denise has an extensive collection of children’s books and even has a bin of toys that she let our little one bring to the room- a big hit of the trip!

Chris and Fran were great hosts. they made me feel right at home, with coffee, a light breakfast, and great conversation. the room was large and comfortable, inside a grande, historic house.

This was my second time staying here and it was just as wonderful as the first! I love coming back — the place is cozy, clean, and feels like a home away from home. I accidentally booked one less night than I intended, but the host was incredibly kind and allowed me to stay the extra night? Truly appreciated the hospitality and flexibility. Would absolutely love to stay here again!

We stayed at Nicole’s for a wedding in Sturbridge. They had no issue letting us check in early, easy check in and a lovely property. Lots of Halloween movies were on cable which reminded us of being kids :) Easy drive to Sturbridge, I’m so glad we chose her place because it was spacious and private and probably 1/5 the cost of staying in town. She has everything you need for a short stay! Plus the goats and chickens are very sweet. Thanks very much.

No wonder Nancy is a super host. She has combined all those roles into one, a sister, a mother, even a nana. Sitting on the deck, enjoying breezes from the early fall; the waves from Connecticut river and the splashing sounds sooth and rock you like a baby in a mother’s arms. If you seek a home away from your home; if you love nature, then, Riverbank is for you!! Nancy, I wish I could thank you more!

We had such a lovely time at Dee’s place! She was a wonderful host - she gave us clear check-in instructions as well as recommendations for restaurants and places to visit, and made delicious and abundant breakfast for us each morning. The house itself was very peaceful and we are really grateful to Dee for sharing her lovely home with us. Highly recommend!
