Vacation rentals with beach access in Halifax Harbour

Very nice place to stay. The view from the back yard is priceless and is very relaxing .She has everything there to make for a nice evening outside ,patio lights, firepit ,lite up dock and picnic table right on the water. Inside is very clean and cozy and is not lacking for anything that you might need .This is not a place that you want to make any excessive noise as there is another residence right above you.

A great stay. Loved the architectural uniqueness of the apartment. Lunenberg is a surprising discovery for those like me who hadn’t heard much about it before visiting. Great fish/ lobster restaurants close by. And the whale watching tour was only a short walk away.

Small and cozy. Host was fantastic and accommodating to us and our dog.

This was our second stay at this Airbnb due to proximity to our family. The place is excellent. The instructions and check in were clear and straightforward. The place is very clean and a great size for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). We appreciated the extra cot for one of our children which comes with the unit. As an avid runner I also enjoyed daily runs on the extensive trail network across the road. It was very convenient and beautiful. It’s about a 30 min drive to downtown Halifax with plenty of options for grocery/pharmacy etc within a few minutes drive to the unit. I would definitely recommend this unit and I’m sure we will return again in the future. Thanks for the stay!

This was the most amazing place. We spent a week here and Everything you needed or wanted was right in this place. The surroundings were peaceful, very inviting. Gillian checked in with us halfway through our stay to see if we needed anything. The beds were very comfy. The firepit is beautiful there was a fully stacked wood pile to use for the fire. There were lots of chairs all around to sit outside or out by the the dock. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you Gillian and Scott for your hospitality.

We stayed for 6 months and it was absolutely wonderful! There were lots of beaches and trails nearby to take our dog. The views were amazing! We even saw a seal once! The apartment was beautiful as well, especially the kitchen (as someone who loves to cook and bake it was perfect!) It's the perfect distance from Halifax if you don't like the bustle of a city but still want to do some sightseeing if you don't mind driving a bit! Overall we loved every part of our stay :)

Excellent host and very hospitable. The accommodation was very clean. Location is great because it is very close to Dalhousie.

The secret beach house was exactly as described and very comfortable. It is surrounded by beautiful beach and peaceful environment. The place has well stocked amenities in the bathroom and kitchen. Courtenay is a very gracious host and was able to accommodate our special request. She was very kind to provide the option of early check and late check out. This airbnb has high quality amenities and furnishings throughout. Courtenay is very friendly and responsive. Watching the ducks run through the yard was a pleasure to watch. They are adorable. Would recommend the place to anyone looking for an amazing guest experience.

We were celebrating a 50th birthday with a spa day nearby. The 4 bedrooms was a dream! The house had all we needed and then some. The host was amazing from beginning to end. Responsive. Proactive. Friendly. We spent 2 stormy nights and we're cozy the whole time. Thanks for the great weekend.

We had a wonderful stay at this property - 8 family members on a girls weekend! The house was beautiful, better than the pictures. The kitchen/living room/dining room space was ideal for games, cooking and lots of fun. Everything was so clean and ready to use. Kim was super responsive with any questions I had and everything was really smooth. I would stay here again! It's useful to note for prospective guests - there is a 1-bedroom guesthouse directly behind the main house which does lie between the house and the yard/view, so it didn't feel quite as private as I thought it would be. But - we were there on a rainy weekend, so our group and the guesthouse renters stayed inside all weekend and it was like they weren't even there! I would suggest if you are renting this space for outdoor space, it might not suit those needs. Overall a lovely place to stay and we had a fabulous weekend.

A beautiful place, a lovely host and quiet :).

Extraordinary property with expansive windows overlooking the lake and a stunning deck for enjoying the view. The interior was both comfortable and stylish, with tasteful designer touches throughout. Outside, the gas fire pit and string lights created a magical setting for evening s’mores. Beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The hosts, Vicky and Steve, were responsive and thoughtful throughout our stay. Note: the steep, unpaved driveway requires AWD—it wasn’t an issue for us and actually added a sense of adventure. There is an alternative place to park vehicles midway for non-AWD vehicles. The only downside was unexpected construction on the lot next door starting Monday, which brought some loud noise. An excavator was moving boulders to clear out space to build a house. Vicky and Steve handled it quickly and graciously with alternative options. Aside from that, the stay was absolutely wonderful.

This place was clean, modern, and had everything we needed for the perfect weekend. The dry firewood made for an amazing campfire, and the sauna was super easy to use with adjustable temperature. The Blackstone BBQ was great, and the kitchen was fully stocked for cooking. The beds were really comfortable: two upstairs and one on the main floor, perfect for families or small groups. Bluetooth speakers were top quality and connected in seconds. Jodi was an amazing host, sharing everything we needed to know well before check-in. If you’re planning a getaway with family or loved ones, this place is a must!

What a beautiful place to spend a week. The house was absolutely spotless, completely stocked and had a very welcoming feeling. We felt completely at home and the location was breathtaking and very convenient. Would 100% recommend staying at Brad and Jaclyn's perfect home.
