I was very satisfied without any inconvenience for 3 nights. The host was responsive and friendly, and most importantly, the location was really good. It was a 10-minute walk from Tenjin Station, so shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing were all comfortable. I thought it would be noisy because it was near the downtown area, but I was surprised that it was so quieter than I thought, and the inside of the accommodation was a real Japanese family home? One room? I felt the same way. It was well organized, and it was clean because of the scent of fabric softener such as bedding and towels, and it was equipped with a microwave, burner, etc., so I used it well when heating convenience store food.(It's in the brochure on how to use it) The bathroom was small, but it wasn't too much to use alone, and it's a place where you can smoke, so there's a smell of cigarettes, but as a non-smoker, I didn't feel very uncomfortable ~ It was a place with details. Whether it smells like toilet paper,,, I'm going to use it for my next trip to Fukuoka.
A modern pendant light features an intricate design with metallic and white elements, casting a warm glow in the room. The light's unique shape adds a contemporary touch to the space, enhancing the overall aesthetic.

I made a reservation while looking for a place to stay in Fukuoka, but I think the room was better than the narrow Japanese hotel. It's a bit far to walk to Hakata Station or Tenjin, but there are buses and convenience stores nearby, and it was pleasant to stay in a quiet neighborhood. It was so nice to have a bathtub and a dryer.

I loved spending a week at シコさん's accommodation. He's more like a family member than a host. I'll never forget the moments we talked, had dinner, and joked around together. If you're looking for a place that you want to experience Japanese local life, this is the best place. His IG: norishicoauto_guesthouse My IG: jonasgan Remark: シコさん is a Japanese who can speak Japanese, English, Korean and probably other languages that I'm not aware of, don't say anything bad in front of him 😂

The house is basically okay. There are too many weeds and debris in the yard. The surrounding environment needs attention. It's still relatively good.
The room contains two single beds on opposite sides, each dressed with folded towels. A desk is positioned near a window dressed with green curtains, and a coat stand stands nearby. The walls are decorated with maps and colorful posters, contributing to a welcoming environment.

The landlord is really friendly It was a very satisfying accommodation because they helped us a lot with convenient facilities such as nearby bars, hot springs, and grocery stores for us when we traveled, and prepared the information and items we needed right away.

We had a comfortable stay on the island with a relaxing time, and we had time to leave the island in no time. Here's what I felt was good. ⚫There was a transfer from arrival at the port to the inn There were even dishes, kitchen tools, and condiments that ⚫I could travel like a local. ⚫I felt the owner's high-level hospitality, such as frozen food, shochu high, water server, etc. with a focus on local Saga and Kyushu choices. ⚫I was relieved to have a direct phone call from the owner in case of an emergency ⚫Clean towels and futons ⚫The water pressure in the shower was great ⚫Detailed cleaning ⚫There were cute seashells just a short walk to the beach ⚫The sunset from the beach was beautiful It's a magnificent house with an impact⚫. It was big enough for training, camps, and retreats It was an extraordinary trip that felt unique to the island. They kindly contacted us before our stay, and we were able to stay with peace of mind. Thanks again!

This is the most satisfying stay I have for this trip to Japan, because I am curious about what it is to live in the temple, so I booked Mr. koji's room, the location is near Saga Castle, the environment is very good, you can walk along the moat at night. mr. koji family is also very enthusiastic, talked to me about a lot of topics I am interested in such as mountain climbing and traveling, the next morning I am going to catch the train, Mr. koji is also driving me to the station, thank you very much!

Entire 2nd floor. A Japanese house built by craftsmen. Living with goats & chickens.

It's my 3rd time returning and for good reason, it's one of the best accommodations for the price I've been to in Japan. You have access to a big comfortable bed, a beautiful upstairs area and your own kitchen. The host is very friendly and there are a lot of convenient shops nearby. Munakata is close to many mountains, shrines and the ocean so if you love nature its worth exploring. The house is really incredible, it's a traditional Japanese style and has lots of great art hanging from the walls. The house has great modern amenities to make your life easy.

My week at Yoshie and Andy’s house in Munakata truly felt like a dream. Yoshie’s family always took care of me and even traveled with me. They are such kind and wonderful people. My first Airbnb experience in Japan was made happy because of them. I was able to enjoy a romantic train trip from Hakata to Akama, and the onsen in Munakata was a perfect place to relax. Walking from Akama Station to the house while taking in the countryside scenery brought me peace. Now I understand why this place receives perfect scores from travelers. I highly recommend this accommodation. I don’t think there’s a better place than this in Fukuoka. I definitely want to visit again. I am deeply grateful to my best friends Yoshie and Andy, and to their mother, for giving me such an unforgettable experience.
