Great location that’s outside the hustle of downtown Reykjavik. Sweet neighborhood and extremely well-kept home with beautiful backyard. Highly recommend.

Great communication, beautiful home. We had everything we needed. Views were amazing. Close to lots of stores and restaurants. Klara was a gracious host, very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We plan to come back in the summer next year and will stay here again. The Converted Water Tower was beautiful and extremely fun. We had a great time seeing the northern lights and unique landscape and it was a convenient for all of our activities in the Reykjanes Peninsula and Reykjavik. The hosts were super responsive when we had a question a few weeks before our trip and again when they provided helpful check-in instructions.

Beautifully located house, loved that it was on the water and just a few minutes from the may part of town. Kristen was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

This place was perfect! 4 adult and 4 kids. It was absolutely beautiful home and the owners were so responsive and helpful. The house is walking distance to food markets and some restaurants and only 20 min drive from downtown Reykjavik. Walking trails all along the area. We could not have picked a better place to stay for our visit to Iceland, highly recommend this place!

Nice house in in good area, a lot of space and light. Many games and toys for kids! 10 min by walk to the bus terminal.

Great place for a family with small kids. Spacious and in a quiet neighborhood. Kids enjoyed the trampoline and other toys. Host was flexible with check in and efficient/accommodating even though previous guests checked out a bit late.

Una was an excellent host, she always responded to our communications promptly. Checking in was a breeze no hassles, her instructions were clear and accurate. Location was absolutely perfect close to everything including shops, groceries, restaurants and bars. The house was truly charming cozy and very very clean. It was very comfortable and relaxing staying there. I would definitely consider staying there if I visited Reykjavík again in future.

Great location outside of the city where you’re not too far of a drive from the center. Lots around thats walkable and it was nice to be a bit out of the crowds. Very clean place, easy to find and park, hassle free check in and out!

Jette’s house is ideally located to get into Reykjavík and to get out into the absolutely stunning countryside. Located just of the motorway But well soundproofed and superbly insulated you certainly won’t get cold. Jette stayed in contact just enough but felt approachable at the same time. Plenty of grocery shops around so you can cook in the well equipped kitchen. By car it takes about 5-10 mins to get into the old town. Have fun.

Felt right at home. I've never stayed in someone's home before on Airbnb, but Mikael made us feel right at home. Having a ton of space, a full kitchen, access to laundry space was invaluable for our trip. Although we didn't have a chance to use the hot tubs they looked clean and spacious. In retrospect, we would have spayed longer because there is just so much to see in just an hour drive radius around the town. Would highly recommend!

Football pitch and playground by the school just a few metres from the house. And a trampoline in the garden. Easy and quick communication with David. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and beautiful place. It truly felt like a home, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The space was clean, well-maintained, and beautifully furnished. What made it even better was the location—it’s within walking distance to supermarkets, restaurants, and shopping malls. A beautiful home near Reykjavik (10 min drive) & conveniently located near highways for easy travel. Extremely clean and comfortable, amenities as described, amazing back porch and hot tub — felt right at home! Guðjón and his family were incredible hosts and made our first trip to Iceland a VERY special one! Shout out to Tommy & Tia, the house cats — we fell in love! Thank you again for everything; we cannot wait to return!

We were absolutely amazed when we walk in to the house. Hjordis’s house is even nicer than in to the photos! House was very stylish, clean and cozy and with all little details which were waiting there for us we were really amazed. There were also provided everything you should need during your stay here. Also instructions was very clear so we didn’t have a problem with anything. It was also great location for our shorter Icelandic trip and we catch everything we wanted to see from there.

Katla's house is spacious, bright, clean and tidy. It is very close to the city center (10 minutes by car), which is very convenient for shopping and eating. There is a gray cat in the house, which is very cute. After 9 days of getting along, we have become good friends and are super happy! I recommend this house!

We loved our stay! The house is just as pictured and perfectly located. Silla was lovely and quick to respond to any question we had. The home was equipped with anything you could possibly need, wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
