The property matched the description provided, though the photographs give the impression of a larger space. Nevertheless, it perfectly met our requirements. Chris was exceptionally responsive to our inquiries, addressing various questions we had. The area was clean and filled with ample natural light. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding land for play, as well as the small game room stocked with toys, which was a welcome respite during a particularly rainy and windy day. The on-site washing machine was available for free use, and the washing line proved to be quite useful. Although the outdoor pool was not heated, it did not deter my children from taking a dip and having fun. I would certainly consider staying at this property again.

We went a s a group of 12 friends , the house was warm welcoming and well stocked . The house is beautiful, Joy was 100% responsive and even messaged as we left to warn about the traffic so we could plan arount the agricultural fair . Anyone booking , do look plan ahead for any theatre show at the Minack such a beautiful backdrop for any production. The pool and BBQ look fantastic but we did not use them. The house itself was perfect and just as described, lovely from start to finish. Great hot tub and spa & swimming pool facilities are amazing. Great location and reallt helpful welcome back with all useful information. The house had lovely personal touches like fresh flowers, Easter egg (as it was Easter), coffee, milk and hot cross buns. Really felt like it was a personal stay and we will be back again.

We stayed for a weekend and it was perfect. A beautiful property in a very quiet and relaxing setting. Hosts provided all of the information we needed. We will certainly return for another visit in future!

We really enjoyed staying here as a group of five adults and 1 toddler. Plenty of room for us all and having 2 bathrooms was really great. The cabin is comfy and cosy, with beautiful views of the Cornish countryside. We used the cabin as a base to explore Cornwall as it is located centrally within easy reach of many popular towns. We loved coming back to the cabin in the evening and using the hot tub and waking up to the very friendly alpacas! You do have to drive up a very narrow and steep lane to reach the cabin but we were lucky that the lane is very quiet and so we never met any oncoming traffic. We would absolutely recommend and would love to return one day.

This was our family’s second stay at what is our favourite spot at Retallack. The lodge, being right on the water, feels peaceful and secluded, but is only a few minutes’ walk to the pool, restaurant and other amenities. Mel is a great host, always replying quickly, and the lodge has everything we needed for our stay. We’d definitely come back again.

We didn't spend alot of time there, due to the activities we had planned, but very comfortable and accommodating. Would stay again.

Excellent location and a tranquil setting. Property was excatly as described and the views were stunning. Easy walk down to Porthminster beach and into St Ives. Highly recommended and we would stay here again without hesitation.

Although we had a few cleanliness issues on arrival, William got everything resolved for us as quickly as he could. The cottage has everything you would need and more, the detail and thought has really gone into this property, making it an ideal home for the length of your stay. The only thing I would say is that it would have been nice to have a TV in the second bedroom. The view was absolutely stunning and the sound of the waves was perfect, we would definitely stay here again. William was a fantastic host.

The villa is located at a very tranquil location with peaceful surroundings and very friendly locals who smile and greet you on your neighborhood walks. On a crisp morning, a walk to Lelant railway station and Anne's Woods is refreshing. About the cottage, it is spacious, full of air and light and very well equipped . Eclectic collection of books in a cozy reception is all you need to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. The kitchen had a lovely tray of welcome goodies that we enjoyed along with provisions for hot beverages. The beds and linens were fresh and there was ample storage in each room to organise your things. Overall, a very comfortable and satisfying experience.

This place is a real gem and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for beautiful views, peace and serenity. It's within a short walk of amazing beaches and close to all local amenities that you need. St. Ives is easily accessible and we used it as a base for many other Cornish locations - Penzance, Land's End and Falmouth were an easy drive away. The property itself, aside from being in a great location, was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and had all amenities that were advertised and the pictures in the listing were accurate and recent. Karen was a great host, very responsive and left a number of goodies in the kitchen to welcome us, which was an extra special touch that we didn't expect. We stayed for 7 nights and could easily have stayed longer.

The most beautiful getaway. The views over the meadow to the sea and St Michael’s Mount are incredible any time of the day and we loved spending time on the terrace. Perfect location for walking, sea swims and east to get into town and explore the Cornish coast. The decor is also amazing with so much attention to detail. Will be back!

I recently had the opportunity to visit a stunning eco-friendly home that seamlessly blends modern technology with sustainable living. This house boasts energy-efficient appliances, solar panels, and a smart home system designed to optimise energy consumption also with well-sized rooms that balance comfort and utility. The large windows allow for ample natural light, reducing the need for lights being on during the day. However, the downside to this otherwise impressive property is the location. While the home itself is a marvel, the surrounding area is still undergoing development. This can make the outdoor experience less appealing, furthermore, the proximity to amenities is not ideal for those who prefer walking, it requires a short drive to reach the nearest shops and services. The host was very responsive and friendly, overall, this modern tech eco-friendly home is a fantastic choice and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

We loved our short stay at Sunrise Cottage. The location was great and close to St Ives and Penzance. The cottage had all the amenities we needed and more and it was nice to have a bath at the end of the day. Would definitely recommend - thanks Liz and Dave!☀️

I spent a lovely few days at Alan's place in St. Ives! I'd highly recommend it for anyone who's looking for a central location close to the sea and so many great restaurants, shops, and cafes. St. Eia wine bar/cafe was such a treat and 1 minutes from our doorstop. The house itself was so charming and decorated beautifully.

Great little place in an unspoilt fishing village. We loved Mousehole. Pros Felt at home. Super comfy beds, great linen & soft towels. We all slept extremely well. Some beautiful lounge chairs. We loved the leather chair in the lounge. Perfect for a morning coffee and the papers! Peaceful and great views of St Michael’s Mount etc. Cons Not many. Very uncomfortable sofa. Few chipped plates Not related to the house but Mousehole. The parking was very tricky. To the point we were unable to park on 2 occasions and my partner had to park quite far out of the village and walk home in the rain very late at night. It’s something to bear in mind. We wish we just got the local bus or taxis everywhere.

This is our second time staying at Bamaluz Beach House and it was just as lovely as in November. The house is perfectly located at the quieter end of the street overlooking Bamaluz Beach with it's turquoise water. Thanks Jonathon we will certainly be back again soon.

We have had the most wonderful stay at Maryann’s AirBNB! Maryann has been nothing but a brilliant host, extremely helpful before the booking and during our stay and very responsive! The accommodation is perfect, extremely clean, so much space and in an amazing location, close to all main roads around Cornwall but also slightly remote meaning it was so peaceful! Highly highly recommended, there wasn’t one fault, we would love to come back again soon!

Very comfortable house with cosy lounge great sofa and amazing TV. Great views and Porthtowan is an amazing unspoilt place. It’s a steep but short walk to the house. Outdoor seating area provides great views. The shower is great and the bed linen lovely.

The property is perfectly located within walking distance of the charming heart of St Ives, surrounded by plenty of wonderful dining options and places to visit. While there were a couple of minor challenges—like occasional difficulties with the internet during the workweek (we did end up tethering and signing up to EE wifi) and noise in the top room on windy nights—they hardly overshadowed our stay. Lisa was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making sure everything went smoothly. The property is beautifully maintained, and it was an absolute delight to stay there. We arrived on a wet and chilly evening, but the house was warm and made us feel instantly welcomed. The view from the top floor was simply breathtaking, a constant reminder that we were away from it all, soaking in the magic of St Ives. It was the perfect place for us to relax and unwind. I wholeheartedly recommend this property and would love to return!

The location is perfect right on the beach and you can walk into the Harbour in minutes, the only downside is parking but we managed to park on the island car park. Lovely views of the sea from the rooms and the place was clean, had everything we needed would definitely book again.
