We desperately needed a vacation to just unwind and focus on family. At first I was reluctant at how remote the house was, but, oh my! This home feels like we had our own paradise. I could have skipped the beaches and just stayed there all week. It was peaceful and more than what I expected! At night we would sit out on the porch and listen to the birds. When it rained you could even hear it on the roof. It was heavenly! My daughter told me tonight that it’s hard to come back to a normal hectic life after being there for over a week. The neighbors are visible, but you have more than enough privacy. The house is far enough from crazy San Juan traffic and crowds, but close enough to the best restaurants and beaches. The host was prompt in answering our questions and giving recommendations. I am super picky about where I stay and I can say that we will for sure be back. Good job on hosting and you’ve got a rare diamond property in the best little neighborhood.

This place overall was in a great area, next to the main roads, close to Wal-Mart and close to the better beaches in the area. Place was safe and secure. Yely made the place feel like a home (with everything you need; fans, beach chairs, coffee, mosquito repellant, etc) and was extremely clean. I would definitely stay here again. **Note: The twin beds in the 2nd bedroom are extremely close to the ground and have very thin mattresses. Not ideal for adults but worked well for our 6 year old.

We highly recommend a stay at Hacienda we Azucena! From the moment we stepped onto the property we felt like we were transported into our own private, tropical paradise! It was like having a resort all to ourselves! The home was very well maintained, and the grounds absolutely pristine. We enjoyed countless hours in the pool and hot tub, as well as star gazing each night. As soon as the sun would go down, the rainforest came alive and we were immersed in all the wonderful sounds of nature. There were a couple hiccups during our stay, which is to be expected, since it is a home in the middle of the rainforest, but Carmen and Jamie were immediately responsive, and had the issues taken care of very quickly! I cannot recommend this property enough, and when my family returns to Puerto Rico, we will definitely be trying to stay here once again! If you’re heading to Puerto Rico, look no further because this is the place you want to stay!

We had a group of 10 and really enjoyed our stay! The bedrooms are set up perfectly for at least 2 families. Having our own beautiful pool was also amazing! One of the showers didn’t work well, so hopefully that gets fixed. We would stay again!

Can’t say enough good things about this place! This was actually our second stay here in just four weeks, and it was just as perfect as the first time. exactly what you need whether you’re here to relax or explore. The host is awesome. Always quick to respond and makes the whole process smooth from start to finish. Location is spot on too — close to great restaurants, beaches, and everything else you might need, but still nice and quiet when you want to unwind. Definitely our favorite spot in Rio Grande. We’ll 100% be back again!

We recently stayed at Demi and Andrei’s Airbnb & it was perfect! The location is not far from the airport, but you'll need a rental car to get around. Having visited PR many times, my husband & I are familiar with the roads but if you're not, just be aware that the roadways can be different. Grocery stores are about 12 minutes away. We rented 2 of their villas: a 3 bedroom and a 2 bedroom. The 3 bedroom villa is located at the bottom of a hill. If you are traveling with elderly people, I would suggest renting one of 2br villa instead. Each villa was beautifully decorated & had super comfy beds with controlled AC units in each room. The kitchen was well-equipped with a small countertop oven. The pool area was amazing, 2 Jacuzzi’s & floats. Only 1 jacuzzi worked. The volleyball area is nice, had a gazebo, sink, grill, + games. We did have a spider situation in the villas but that’s to be expected surrounded but nature. It was gated + outdoor cameras. Overall, it was a lovely place.

We stayed at Ricardo’s place our last night in town and wish we had more days to enjoy it! Very clean and well stocked. The home had a fun vibe with tasteful decorations and games for the kids. Very spacious for our party of 6. The neighborhood is nice and modern and the pool was great for the kids to let out some energy the morning before our flight home. Would love to stay again!

Lovely place. Very minimal feel and very clean. Two connected rooms with spacious living room/small kitchen and bathroom. My ONLY complaint is the outlets… there’s only 1 in each room and they’re indented so my stuff wouldn’t stay plugged, making outlets even more scare. Other than that, I would stay again

… Sharon you where the best host ever! We stayed so many places in PR but you were the best. I have to say that this property is huge, so much space, great location, gated community,close to everything! We are Family of 4 and wanted to stay outside of San Juan but close to beaches and this was perfect choice. Two parking spaces are great to have. Pool was nice to have after long day at beach evenings at pool were great! Groceries and restaurants just across the street you can easy walk if you dont have the car. Thanya’s place was clean, easy to find, perfect for families and located in a great safe location. Access to the rainforest, beaches and San Juan was excellent. The condos were quiet and clean and the playground, pool and basketball court were a bonus for my kids. Additionally, there are plenty of restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets in the area making it very convenient. Thanya is highly selective with who she allows to stay and I can appreciate the care she takes. I can’t wait to stay here again!

The property truly speaks for itself. The chalet is a luxurious home in a magical landscape. The location is private, surrounded by lush flora. In the morning the breeze on the patio makes for the perfect breakfast spot, and in the evening it’s the perfect spot to listen to the coqui chirp. If you’re a fan of wildlife and wilderness you’ll be in heaven. Arthur was an easily accessible and responsive host! He has a guide book available in the air bnb with food recommendations (including menu), popular attractions, and details on the islands culture. Truly a beautiful place and would love to stay again.

Loved our time here everything was great. The room and amenities was as listed in photos. Everything was very clean and pristine. Lucy was so sweet and attentive. Restaurants and activities were very close by beautiful beaches, El Yunque, Culebra Island ferry just minutes away. Our stay was pleasant and everything we expected and more. When we get ready to return to this side of the island we would definitely love to stay here again.

Our stay was great! We had a lot of fun enjoying the treehouse, hanging by the pool and exploring the river. There was a short period of time where the wifi network dropped but came back the next morning. Note that being in the middle of nature, insects might creep inside the treehouse. Truly recommend this place!
