Great place and excellent service.

This is a great place to enjoy the desert and the Sea of Cortez. It is minimal but still offers starlink internet, a bathroom, kitchen and privacy. The campsite manager Jose is very helpful and will make sure you feel at home. So if you find yourself in the area definitely stay the night and enjoy the tranquility of the desert.

I gave a 5-star review even though I did not stay there. I did understand from the listing that it was on a ranch down a dirt road. What was not stated is that the road is not accessible to cars - only trucks. My car got stuck on a berm in the dark and I could not get out. I never made it there.

Luis’s beautiful oasis is a birder’s paradise. Located almost all the way up the canyon, it’s a perfect place to explore the magnificent bird life in Madera Canyon. Wake up early and get on the trail before anyone else to hear the lovely birdsong of early morning. Conversely, go up to Mt. Wrightson picnic area at sunset to hear the owls. You are right where you need to be to enjoy the canyon. Clean and lovely accommodations and friendly staff. Mary is a jewel. Thank you Luis and Mary.

Very nice

We stayed after the breeding season and just before the rainy season. The lodge as a great patio with a unique water fountain that runs down a huge boulder. It's a must stop for all the birds, squirrels, etc. From the patio, we were able to take photos of the Elf owls that nest in the tree overlooking the patio. About 10-15 mins after sunset, the female comes out to drink at the rock fountain. This is our 4th trip to SE AZ and the best one so far. Thanks Luis for your hospitality!

It was absolutely perfect — private, clean, and peaceful. No one bothers you; it’s just you and the world. Adan does an amazing job with the sushi (you have to try it!). Ana is incredible — helpful, easygoing, and so thoughtful. Even though I didn’t bring things like beach chairs, an umbrella, or a cooler, she lent them to us. Everything was just perfect. Thank you, Adan and Ana!

Very quiet place in the middle of nature with plenty of bird species to see and hear right on the patios and close by.

Hugo and Raul are excellent people and hosts, the hotel is worth it, we loved everything, we were happy there, friendly people. We would return whenever we go to Cerocahui - Bahuichivo. A very nice place.

Great location, about 5 minutes from the adventure park. The place perfectly matches the photos and listing description. Julio was a great host: he passed through me to the train station and showed me the village, giving me tips on where to buy and even eat. She offered to support me during the two days I was in her accommodation, always showing a very good disposition and kindness. I highly recommend Julio and his place.
