Family-friendly vacation rentals in Gstaad

If you are thinking of staying here, do it! This is an amazing home and somehow even better in person. It’s very close to the train station (we walked it with a baby and luggage and had no issue. No steep incline and mostly paved). Jacuzzi spa, sauna and laundry in the basement. Tucked away on a quiet street but right in the middle of town (next to the oldest hotel in zermatt). Marc was extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. This spot is more of a 5 star hotel with the extra space and private amenities. We would come back in a heartbeat. Beyond impressed. There’s a reason why the reviews are all glowing.

this is a hit for a reason. the chalet is exactly how a chalet should be: a big shared living space with a wonderful panomaric view of the surroundings combined with cosy cocoony bedrooms with fantastic bedding and a great bathroom. top this up with an outdoor jacuzzi which works like a charm thank you Fabrice for trusting us with your home!

Perfect place for a group of people who want to go for a hike and relax afterwards. The view from the house is beautiful and the house has everything you need.

We really enjoyed our stay at Chalet Feiler! The surroundings are beautiful and quiet. The kitchen is generously equipped, including coffee capsules, milk, spices, oil and charcoal for the grill. Everything was very clean and cozy. The chalet has fully met our expectations! Communication with Anoushka was straightforward and detailed. We'd come back in a heartbeat.

A beautiful apartment located in a central location for all outdoor lovers! We hiked nearly every day and used the bus system. It was so convenient. Just a beautiful location and beautiful home to stay in. Thank you !!! ☺️

This is a large Airbnb, which is fairly close to the train station in Zermatt, and the host was friendly, helpful, and responsive. The Airbnb is situated on the side of a large hill, which faces the Matterhorn. We had a beautiful view of the mountain every single day, and the dual lifts make it easy and convenient to get from town to the Airbnb. The only downside -- and it really wasn't much of a problem -- is that the Airbnb is located near the edge of town, and so it is about a 10 to 15-minute walk to the center of Zermatt where most of the restaurants are located. Regardless, if you have a large group, this makes for a good option. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

The most gorgeous location, perfect to stay as a solo traveller. Easy access to beautiful local trails and felt very safe and secure in the property.

A lovely apartment in an excellent location, would 100% recommend

I love the lake view! I was able to enjoy a view that was more wonderful than the photos. I was a little lost about check-in and parking, but I was able to resolve it by reading the guide link sent by the host! I liked that the location was very close to Spitz Castle and the lake. The cooking ingredients were a little old, but other than that, it was equipped with a lot of things, so I was able to stay comfortably. If you want to enjoy the lake view from Spitz, I recommend it!

We had a great time with the family. The accommodation is outstanding and is something very special. There's nothing missing here. The view of Mont Blanc from the chalet, as well as the possibility of using the many hiking trails directly from the accommodation, are spectacular. Vincent is an excellent host. I'm deliberately not using superlatives here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We look forward to staying with Vincent again in the future.

We absolutely love staying at Bed in Bern. The instructions to get there were really easy to follow and check in was a breeze. Apartment was really clean well stocked and even though it was hot, they provided us with two large fans to cool the place down. Location really close to old town good cafés and restaurants 10 out of 10 would recommend a stay there.

Marie-Cecile and Tomas were such lovely hosts and they obliged certain extra requests to make our stay extremely comfortable. The village is beautiful, well connected and has plenty to do if you like hiking and absorbing the views. A great place to soak in nature, very comfortable for 3 people. The apartment was very nice, the sleeping areas were very comfortable. The location was good, very close to both the downtown as well as hiking trails. Pierre was very quick to respond and friendly, and even gave good recommendations for the area. It did get quite hot in the area and the apartment got very muggy on a few nights, and I would have gladly paid more for some kind of AC. However, no air conditioning is typical for the area so it is not a knock against the apartment. On the nights where it cooled down and the windows were open the apartment was very comfortable and gave a beautiful view of the mountains. If I were to ever go back to Chamonix I would consider staying here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The unit is clean and comfortable for our family of five (one infant). It has a separate entrance for guests and dedicated parking space. Kitchen is complete with all the appliances & utensils. Elisabeth was super nice and friendly. She brought our kids to see the animals and they love it. She provided some groceries n chocolate and she even baked bread for us. hopefully we have the opportunity to stay here again.

A stay in a functional, very pleasant and impeccably clean accommodation, with a spectacular view of the valley. Caring and pleasant hosts, very attentive and at the same time very discreet, and always available for any requests. I highly recommend it and hope to come back as soon as possible!!!!

Great extended weekend at Amandine's. The cottage is comfortable and friendly. The Nordic bath is a plus. The nearby hikes are very beautiful! A small haven of peace!

We had a wonderful stay at Katya's place! Since it’s the house where she lives, it felt very cozy and like a real home. The location is excellent, just a couple of minutes from the train station, making it super easy to visit nearby cities like Montreux and Lausanne. Communication with Katya was very smooth, she was always friendly and helpful. We left already wanting to come back!

Christine was very helpful and thoughtful in making our stay as pleasant as possible. The home was equipped with activities and toys to keep our little daughter engaged which was a pleasant surprise.

Very nice apartment with a lovely big living room and large windows. Well equipped, clean and tidy. A short walk to the Argentiere lifts, all important boulangerie and restaurants in the village. Justin was very helpful but not over the top. Recommended.

Such a gem! Perfect location to explore the areas around Lake Brienz and easy access to Grindelwald and Interlaken. Erika left great instructions about everything in the area and the building had great amenities. Nice safe parking spot for your car. The area was peaceful and quiet just a short walk away from the lake with a private swim area. Wish we had more time!

Well-located accommodation and very well-equipped. Beautiful house with a beautiful garden and a beautiful view. Check-in is flexible and easy, Corinne is very friendly and welcoming, we recommend her accommodation.

Great place, great location. Thanks to Odile and Jeanne for their kindness. The bedding is of quality and the setting is very peaceful while being very close to amenities. As for the view, it is really superb, which allows a total change of scenery even indoors. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back.
