I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Kjartan’s listing! He has been extremely responsive and helpful. He gave great advice for me during my stay and great things to do around the area. Parking was always available, home was easy to find and as described. Book here, it’s worth every penny.

Beautiful location almost on the water at the edge of a narrow fjord. Three beautiful rooms, and all the necessary equipment for a road trip stopover in Iceland.

Fantastic home! It was cozy and quiet with great natural light and a beautiful balcony while being a 10 minute walk from downtown. The home and host made you feel immediately at home! I would highly recommend.

A perfect space for a couple, in a location that’s great for both going into Reykjavík and driving around the golden circle/south coast. The apartment looks even better in real life, and was left clean and with everything we could have needed, we absolutely loved our stay! Thank you so much- would recommend to anyone :)

I can’t say enough about how great this place and host is. Excellent central location -close to bus stops, tour pick up points, restaurants, attractions and supermarket. Very tastefully decorated and stocked - modern yet warm and cosy. Heated bathroom floors are nice. (Side note - If you are sensitive to noise it’s not for you - this is a central area and has foot traffic as such.) Most importantly - Thora was an amazing and responsive host. I hurt myself and she had sourced and delivered crutches for me with 25 minutes on a Saturday night! She was very helpful with other information needed. Highly recommended for your stay.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. The space was roomy but cozy, in a great location, and exactly what we needed. Check-in was smooth, and the host was super helpful throughout our stay. Great views and is a short walk to main attractions. Highly recommend

Siggi was very friendly and helpful for our trip. The car he provided was very useful and reliable. The place was quite, clean, and warm just like home.

We loved staying at Haukur's place - it was walkable to a ton of restaurants and attractions in downtown Reykjavík, but still quiet in the evenings. Check-in was very easy. Parking was also pretty easy. We used the Parka app and parked one block away from Haukur's apartment (parking in front of the apt is zone 1, but if you park one block up it's zone 2 and half the price). Overall, great location and experience. We would definitely stay here again!

This apartment was perfect for our family of four. Even though we were not able to go whale watching we saw many light houses , gorges, beaches, and lava fields. This host was so kind and the accommodations were perfect!

This place was amazing! So close to town center and truly in the heart of Reykjavík. The place was clean and looked exactly like pictures. Perfect for two people.

We loved staying in Anna's apartment! She is an amazing and kind hostess. The apartment looks even better than the pictures, very clean and comfortable. Includes all the amenities you could need and the location, although not in the center, it's really accessible (if you rent a car) and the neighborhood is nice. The building has an elevator which was a plus. Would stay there again.

We stayed 2 nights in a group and had a very good time. Super central location, very comfortable house and very easy to find paid parking near the property. The host was super professional, gave us a lot of information and helpful tips.

This was my second time in Reykjavík and second time to stay with Sigridur and Omar. I love the apartment, it is spotlessly clean and very homely, in a quiet neighbourhood. Sigridur and Omar are very welcoming. It is a home from home. 😊

It is a cozy, warm, comfortable, and convenient apartment—perfect for our family of four. It was really nice to be able to relax and cook some easy dinners in this apartment after our long days exploring the areas around Reykjavik. Clean apartment with character. It’s a nice place to relax and it’s in a walking distance from the center and close to Bus Stop 1 that many tours have as a pickup point.

Our family of 5 (3 pre-teens / teenagers) did an IcelandAir stopover for just a couple of days. This BnB was in a great location close to the airport and the city. The home itself was wonderful and easily accommodated us. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. Elisa provided amazing recommendations for things to do and local places to eat. I wish we had more time to spend in this wonderful country. When we come back, we hope Elisa and her family will host us again!

The stay was perfect. The apartment is well located, simple check-in and had everything we needed on site. The complimentary coffee is also a plus.

We had an amazing time at Geir’s family home! This was an incredible place to spend the new year and we would absolutely return! The location is perfect. We were able to walk outside the city lights a short distance to get an amazing view of the northern lights. A designated lookout is also a short car ride away. Plus, downtown Reykjavík is a short car or bus ride away! It could also be a good walk for those who like to hike.

We had an amazing stay! The surroundings are stunning and the hot tub was definitely the highlight. There is a lot of love for the detail in the apartment and it was spotless when we arrived. I would absolutely consider the place for another stay if we come back to Iceland.

Very well equipped for a comfortable stay in a central down town location. Handy for everything with lots of cafes, bars & restaurants within close proximity. Spacious & stylish apartment to hang out in when we didn’t feel like going out. Netflix on the TV was a lovely touch.

Amazing stay! We were able to get in early which was perfect because our group was absolutely exhausted. Favorite place during our trip would definitely be visiting again.

Sloveig was such a wonderful host and really went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. The place was beautiful and comfortable in every way imaginable and super close to the city center without the crowd. Definitely a place I would want to come back to!

Beautiful private apartment with incredible host. The photos don't show the warmth and character of the apartment, with amazing little details and quality in every room. From the linen in the bedroom, the way the kitchen is appointed to toiletries in the bathroom, all made our stay so comfortable and relaxing. We were there over New Years and Anna gave us tips on the Northern Lights as well as some celebration treats as well as a welcoming drink. As a host we could not recommend more highly. It's location to local amenities was perfect and you could as easily eat out in central Reykjavik as you could go shopping and cook in. We hired a car but chose to use public transport to get around the city - the bus stop was only 5 minutes walk away and super easy. The Hot Tub was private in a lovely garden with our own door from the apartment. Overall we had an amazing stay at Anna and Skuli's 5 star apartment.
