The surrounding area has good hiking conditions both on foot, on skis and by bike. There is an opportunity for hunting and fishing. Right outside the door there is a well-developed network of well-prepared ski slopes. There is a short distance to the alpine facilities in Trysilfjellet (25 minutes) and Sälen (35 minutes). Here you have proximity to activities in summer and winter.

Come and enjoy our new mountain villa with close proximity to unique nature experiences all seasons. We have built everything in our house ourselves with unique materials and craftsmanship. The house is located on the upper Storsätern with proximity to Grövelsjön, ski resort, grocery store, restaurants, etc. Hiking trails and trails can be reached directly adjacent to the area. Forget about all the everyday worries in this spacious and peaceful home near slopes, cross-country tracks, and stunning nature. In our cabin you have all the amenities for the family to enjoy and together experience a lovely holiday winter and summer. 4 bedrooms. 10 + 4 beds. Two living areas with smart TVs. Open fireplace. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Washing machine. Two shower/wc. Sauna. Drying cabinet. Wifi. The cottage was completed in 2023. Approx. 500 meters to the lift and 300 meters to the cross-country ski trail "fjället runt".

Amazing mountain experience in Ottsjö in Åre

In this fantastic little mountain village Ottsjö, our newly built house is in a high position overlooking the mountain world in Åre. The house is 76 sqm with panoramic windows and beautiful material choices. In this house, you will feel like you are outdoors even when you are sitting inside by the stove with a cup of tea. Just behind the house, there are several prepared cross-country trails, snowmobile trails, hiking trails and proximity to fine fishing. A perfect house for friends and families with children who also want to bring their dog.

Cozy decor and well equipped with good beds, kitchen, bathroom and shower. To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. We offer sleigh rides and ski instruction on cross-country skiing in the winter, please contact us if you are interested.

The cabin has a good standard with a new well-equipped kitchen and cozy bathroom. Laundry room and extra toilet in the basement. Great outdoor areas with fire pits.

The cabin has four bedrooms, a cozy living room, modern kitchen, bathroom and a loft. The property is fully fenced, perfect if you bring your dog. 4-wheel drive in winter is recommended.
