Apartment vacation rentals in Grindavik

Our family of 5 (3 pre-teens / teenagers) did an IcelandAir stopover for just a couple of days. This BnB was in a great location close to the airport and the city. The home itself was wonderful and easily accommodated us. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. Elisa provided amazing recommendations for things to do and local places to eat. I wish we had more time to spend in this wonderful country. When we come back, we hope Elisa and her family will host us again!

Jolanta is a wonderful host! She was very proactive and greeted us upon arrival. The studio was well-equipped with everything we could ever need and it was neat and clean. Would definitely stay here again whenever I come back.

Lovely place if you are looking for some peace and quiet. It’s also a good location to see the Northern Lights - they were right above us!

The stay was perfect. The apartment is well located, simple check-in and had everything we needed on site. The complimentary coffee is also a plus.

Amazing place. We sat in the hottub at night with - 10 degrees while it was pitch black. A moment we will never forget. The place looked even better than on the pictures. We cooked at the place two nights, the oven is amazing and all the equipment is there. Linda responded very quick and was very nice. Thank you Linda!!

Up there with one of the best places we have stayed. Beautifully decorated, beds were so comfortable, always warm and cosey, kitchen well stocked and everything so clean. We absolutely loved it. And the northern lights gave us a treat right outside the front door, such an idyllic stay thank you

This was our last stop in Iceland and it did not disappoint. It was one of the most beautiful Air BnB’s I had ever stayed in with luxury at every turn. The soaking hot tub had been prepared for our arrival and sits right on the water. We had wine, soaked and watched the magical sunset over the majestic mountains. The home is equipped with everything you can possibly imagine, including high end kitchen with coffee maker, a stunning shower with robes, washer/dryer and wine in a cooler offered for a fee. The beds were so comfortable, we didn’t want to get up. Although a bit pricier than our other stays, the place was a 5 star villa and well worth the splurge. Highly recommend for the beginning or end of your Iceland adventure. It’s was AMAZING!!!

Great place with homey feeling. Perfect parking spots. 30 mins away from the famous Seljalandsfors Waterfall. Supermarket just 2 mins away from the accommodation

I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Kjartan’s listing! He has been extremely responsive and helpful. He gave great advice for me during my stay and great things to do around the area. Parking was always available, home was easy to find and as described. Book here, it’s worth every penny.

Fantastic home! It was cozy and quiet with great natural light and a beautiful balcony while being a 10 minute walk from downtown. The home and host made you feel immediately at home! I would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay here the night before our flight. My son started to feel quite unwell the day we were arriving to the Airbnb and Hlynur was kind enough to let us check in a bit earlier and check out later so he could rest. The public pool (Waterworld) is walking distance, as is grocery store, some restaurants etc. the Airbnb is very clean, kitchen stocked for simple meals and beds are comfortable. There is good natural light coming into the Airbnb and a washer/dryer is also available.

I can’t say enough about how great this place and host is. Excellent central location -close to bus stops, tour pick up points, restaurants, attractions and supermarket. Very tastefully decorated and stocked - modern yet warm and cosy. Heated bathroom floors are nice. (Side note - If you are sensitive to noise it’s not for you - this is a central area and has foot traffic as such.) Most importantly - Thora was an amazing and responsive host. I hurt myself and she had sourced and delivered crutches for me with 25 minutes on a Saturday night! She was very helpful with other information needed. Highly recommended for your stay.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. The space was roomy but cozy, in a great location, and exactly what we needed. Check-in was smooth, and the host was super helpful throughout our stay. Great views and is a short walk to main attractions. Highly recommend

Siggi was very friendly and helpful for our trip. The car he provided was very useful and reliable. The place was quite, clean, and warm just like home.

We loved staying at Haukur's place - it was walkable to a ton of restaurants and attractions in downtown Reykjavík, but still quiet in the evenings. Check-in was very easy. Parking was also pretty easy. We used the Parka app and parked one block away from Haukur's apartment (parking in front of the apt is zone 1, but if you park one block up it's zone 2 and half the price). Overall, great location and experience. We would definitely stay here again!

We appreciated the great location, beautiful room and hospitality from the front desk staff. It was really helpful to be able to drop off our luggage early in the morning upon arrival to maximize our time in Iceland with an all day tour!

Oh we absolutely loved this darling little place. Very cozy especially in winter. Felt like our own little cozy cave. Very walkable to groceries, restaurants, so close to airport and Blue Lagoon. Highly recommend for a visit to SW peninsula of Iceland.

We stayed 2 nights in a group and had a very good time. Super central location, very comfortable house and very easy to find paid parking near the property. The host was super professional, gave us a lot of information and helpful tips.

This was my second time in Reykjavík and second time to stay with Sigridur and Omar. I love the apartment, it is spotlessly clean and very homely, in a quiet neighbourhood. Sigridur and Omar are very welcoming. It is a home from home. 😊

It is a cozy, warm, comfortable, and convenient apartment—perfect for our family of four. It was really nice to be able to relax and cook some easy dinners in this apartment after our long days exploring the areas around Reykjavik. A perfect space for a couple, in a location that’s great for both going into Reykjavík and driving around the golden circle/south coast. The apartment looks even better in real life, and was left clean and with everything we could have needed, we absolutely loved our stay! Thank you so much- would recommend to anyone :)

Clean apartment with character. It’s a nice place to relax and it’s in a walking distance from the center and close to Bus Stop 1 that many tours have as a pickup point.
