Cosy chalet in the heart of Evolène

Our wonderful family chalet in the heart of Evolène (1400m altitude) is a former hostel built more than 100 years ago. In 2016, we refurbished it completely, conserving its old charm while adding a contemporary note. The house is easily accessible by public transport and serves as a perfect based to explore the surrounding mountains. The house is spacious and luminous, with four double rooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living room, kitchen, attic, balconies and garden.

Take it easy at this unique place. The "little castle" is located in the middle of the vineyards, not far from the picturesque town of Sion. Both bedrooms each have their own bathroom with shower. The very well-equipped kitchen invites you to prepare your meals. Le Crocoduche is a charming mazot in the heart of a valley with unforgettable landscapes. For a stay for 2 (or up to 4) in an independent chalet, located 1400 m above sea level, 25 min. from Sion in the municipality of Evolène, in the Val d'Hérens. Ideal for hiking, mountain biking, skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or "farniente". Cultural activities and local food are also remarkable.

Very nice 5 ½ room chalet, warm and comfortable, tastefully furnished. Spacious and bright, ideal for 10 people. Very large balcony with panoramic south-facing view with the entire mountain range between the Weisshorn Hotel, the Matterhorn and Vercorin. 2 outdoor parking spaces directly in front of the chalet. (not suitable for motorhomes)

The calm of the mountain, the proximity to ski resorts, the authenticity of a living and natural habitat, a garden terrace and pastures, unspoiled nature and majestic panoramas. The chalet was transformed in 2011 from a typical Valais barn-stable; plank walls on a stone base.
