Lake house vacation rentals in Greenwood Lake

10/10, best rental! The house felt like a hotel - it was immaculately clean with beautiful decor and in an ideal location. They put a lot of thought into it, there were so many little things we weren't expecting from an Airbnb that made this one top notch. We appreciated the fluffy clean towels and toiletries they provided. They had a whole section of baby items stored neatly in the garage and we used the baby monitor to keep an eye on the kiddos during the night. We really enjoyed the kayaks with life jackets in adult and kid sizes. They even thought to provide things like waterproof cell phone cases to take on the kayaks! They also had a small cooler, tons of beach chairs and lawn games. The location of the house is great, there's a little beach around the corner and 1 min drive into a part of town with some nice restaurants. We took a recommendation from the house's Insta-page and went on an easy hike on the boardwalk section of the Appalachian trail! It was a great time!

This airbnb is great! Super spacious, so many bathrooms, the indoor sauna is the most relaxing, hot tub amazing, and lovely to have lake access. It's not fancy or private if that's something you're looking for, but has everything you need for a lovely stay. Communication was stellar for check-in and out, including flexibility on timing. We didn't stay with kids, but there is a crib in one of the rooms and board games in the basement. Thanks for an incredible stay!!

Everything was perfect ! My family and I had a great time. Looking forward to staying here again in the summer.

We had a wonderful time staying at Amanda’s lake house, so much so that we extended our trip. It the perfect cozy, warm cabin that we were hoping for. It was so nice sitting by the lake and watching the day go by

Lovely lake home with beautiful views, both from the living room and outside deck. The house was well stocked with everything you would need including spices and coffee! We had a wonderful time and will be back.

The house is set lakefront with a beautiful , peaceful and private view . It is very well equipped and super comfortable with many different seating selections and hang out spots. We enjoyed the many hiking trails around the house and the gas fireplace along with the jacuzzi! We were disappointed with the late 5pm check-in unless we wanted to pay extra for earlier. We have always had a 2-4 pm check-in nine years using Airbnb. Paying $400 a night made the first night a short one. We did have a relaxing wonderful vacation.

Spent a weekend here with family and 5 little dogs. There is a bit more paperwork you have to do to get allowed into the community and to get the visitor pass at the Welcome Center. Once inside the community, getting into the house was easy. It was very cozy with lots to do in and out of the house. It rained the entire time we were there...but the house had lots to do inside. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials and was able to cook a beautiful family dinner! Thank you for the beautiful setting for our family yearly gathering!

I have been to many places but this house was top notch I'm glad I got to stay there with my family. everyone was very happy with the property. I would like to stay in the summer as well

We had a wonderful time celebrating Valentine's Day weekend at Instant Karma Catskills. The house had EVERYTHING we needed and is extremely cozy and comfortable. We spent time in nature and truly got the break and retreat we needed as a family. Highly recommend a visit to this beautiful and special spot! We enjoyed a pizza night from Forage Pizza (amazing), board games, the view/lake, and some hygge time. Thank you!

Beautiful spot overlooking Long Pond. The house is comfortable and clean. We cooked our meals in house. The kitchen is well appointed in great working order and has everything you need to prepare a meal. Expectations were definitely exceeded. We totally enjoyed the heated bathroom floors in the cool mornings. Also appreciated the duel brew or keurig coffee maker. We were able to enjoy sitting outside by the fire pit before the weather changed. Apparently the fishing is also good as one of us did catch a fish (catch and release) The rain did not, however put a damper on our enjoying this lovely retreat. The only warning note would be to be cautious on the wooden stairs. Dallas is a great host.

Was looking for a last minute mini getaway. Jonathan was very quick to respond and booked with in minutes because of that. The place is just as pictured. Everything is near! Only thing I would suggest is if you plan on cooking, might want to bring your own pots and pans, not a huge variety but we were able to make it work. Overall pretty good for the price. Nice place and would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect! Very clear instructions prior to arrival. Clean and well kept environment. Kitchen had all the necessary cooking supplies. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean with nice linens and comfortable beds. The living space was comfortable and conducive to relaxing. The game room was so much fun! We played basketball, ping pong and Ms PAC Man! The deck and yard were relaxing and peaceful. We loved the hot tub in the evenings listening to the sounds of the lake! The neighborhood was quiet and easy to take our pup for a stroll. Also good hiking nearby. Nick was super responsive and informative. He even provided chocolates and drinking water for us! Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend! Five stars!

We stayed here right after our wedding in Westchester county as a "mini-moon" for a couple of days and absolutely loved it! It was the perfect place to relax especially on the patio overlooking the water and the hot tub was an added bonus. This is one of the few Airbnbs we have stayed in that we would go back to in a heartbeat. Beautiful!!! Highly recommend :)

Sunil’s large house sits on extensive grounds with beautiful views across lake Mahopac from most rooms. A well equipped kitchen and updated bathrooms, round out the amenities. Sunil is an exceptionally responsive and cordial host. We have stayed here several times and highly recommend it.

Amazing surroundings and lake view, house comfortable accommodated my huge family of 16. Has everything, all utensils mentioned. We had multiple sightings of deers right on our backyard which was awesome for the kids. We will definitely return in warmer weather to enjoy the lake. The host and her husband were extremely responsive and helpful. During our 4 day stay we did not have any issues. Amazing family memories made. Thank you!

Loved Ellie's place. Martina was an amazing host and made it very easy for us to enjoy this beautiful property. Highly recommended if your looking to relax and get back to nature. Looking forward to returning.

Came to town with a full crew of friends and family from all over to help a cousin whose house flooded while she wasn’t in town. The perfect place to all gather, eat, relax and rest well after working hard all day. I can’t imagine how awesome it is in the summer. Great host.

Shariq was very flexible and accommodating with my group's needs. We were looking for a place to spend New Year together with friends. We needed a place where folks could co-work, and still socialize. The house was perfect, in that we could split into smaller groups to do our own thing, the toddler could take naps in a separate room without disruption, and the surroundings were beautiful. I would like to return when the weather is nice and I can actually take advantage of the beautiful lake right in the back yard!

I highly recommend this place to stay. We two families stayed and have great fun. Nice house with access to lake and lot of other amenities like hot tub etc. Lots of things to do inside the house and lake. We couldn't due to lack if time

This house was an absolute gem for our group, warm, spacious, and super comfortable! The kitchen was actually well equipped with everything we needed to host dinners and plenty of room for everyone to sit comfortably. Watching the sunsets over the lake by the firepit was absolutely beautiful. Kevin was incredibly responsive making sure we had everything we needed and overall we had a great time. Can’t wait to come back during the summer!

Had a great weekend with our 3 kids for a wedding at Woodloch pines. The house was spotless, Christine was very helpful and it actually seemed larger than the photos. The lofted space is perfect for kids. Thank you, Christine !

The house was very clean, easy to get to, easy check-in, wonderful communication, a welcome note on arrival (and a bottle of wine for valentine's day - thank you very much). The kitchen had everything we needed. This house was perfect for our family of four. Would definitely come back when skiing in the area again!
