Country Escape

My place is close to great views of the Southern Alps and away from the hustle and bustle of city living. It is a peaceful country escape. 10 mins to Darfield & 20 mins to Rolleston, and 30 mins to Christchurch or Christchurch airport. My place is good for couples and families (with kids). We are only a few minutes away from the hot air ballooning and an hour from the ski fields. The nearest golf course is only 5 mins down the road with several others available in the Selwyn district.

Nicely upgraded house with a rural aspect view. There is a large lounge dinning space, modern kitchen and nice bathroom. The property has a good heat pump to keep the temperature as you need it. There are 2 good size bedrooms and the bed is very comfortable

What a hidden gem this property is! We immediately felt right at home. Beautifully appointed with all listed amenities. The beds were so comfortable and everything was super clean and tidy. Very tidy, spacious, and comfortable family home with everything you need. Plenty of off-street parking. Easy to get to from Christchurch airport. No fuss entry. Easy 5 minute walk to town centre for cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, takeout, and retail. Timely communication from host. Very enjoyable stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Kylie’s place. It is a beautiful property surrounded by amazing scenery. We were also lucky to use the place as our getting ready AirBnB the night before the wedding. Kylie was incredibly accomodating, and very kind. Highly recommend this stay for anyone!

The Country Cottage was the perfect escape! Peaceful, private, and full of charm. It’s a newer build, but has that lovely old-world feel, and it was absolutely spotless. The kitchen had everything we needed, the water pressure was amazing, and the whole place felt so thoughtfully put together. After a day exploring the city, it was great to be able to zip back without getting stuck in traffic. If you’re after somewhere quiet, beautiful, and well-located, this is it. Thanks again Amy, we absolutely loved our stay and will be back next time!
