Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Greater Manchester

From start to finish the host was friendly kind and very responsive.i felt at ease .on getting to the property i waa shocked how beautiful it was and smelt divine n so clean n tidy and a modern feel but stil rrmaining quaint.the rooms were wow espicially the top bedroom and the bathroom and top room had ensuite.huge fridge freezer loads drawers and cupboards huge cooker amd a log burner comfy beds and chairs.must say whole home smelt divine of candles n perfumed sticks n sprays lighting was amazing and little quirky touches to all.towels n bedding toilet rolls provided and hair n bath stuff organic everything in facct ud need for a perfect stay especisly no shoes in the home n lush carpets n tiled floors n wood floors .has chairs n table outside at back n big car park space for camper van shops nearby and food places park n lake n bus stop for manchester city.wd definately stay again ive been lots of places this has my 5 star for excellent

Our stay was very comfortable; the house was roomy, spotlessly clean and well presented. The location was fabulous and only a stones throw from some of the popular walks in the area. We would stay there again. Car parking is on the street and the village was very busy when we stayed, so we had to leave the cars a hundred meters, or so, from the house. However, it felt safe enough to leave the cars out of sight.

Really lovely home, very short stroll to the village centre which has some great restaurants and shops. Our 16 month old really appreciated playing with the wide variety of children’s books and toys and on the children’s slide & swing in the garden. Would stay again!

We had a brilliant weekend stay in Michelle's family home, which was absolutely perfect as a base with our two children and grandma for a family wedding. The house is huge and beautifully decorated, and set up with everything you could need to entertain the kids (a stunning garden in the sunshine as well!). We loved the open plan kitchen space looking out onto the garden. Michelle was so helpful and brilliant at communicating with us, all the information provided was so useful. A wonderful home from home, really couldn't have asked for more. We would definitely stay again! Thank you so much xx

I'm not sure what to say that already hasn't. We have just had an absolutely lovely Easter weekend at Michelle and Johns wonderful cottage. The place is thoughtfully decorated throughout and has a very homely feeling to it. Everything was modern and spotlessly clean with thoughtful little touches like dog towels, grocery essentials and soaps. The location is very peaceful but find yourself a mere five minute walk to the centre of Marsden and all it has to offer. Having stayed at many Airbnb rentals, this is without doubt equally one of the best and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone considering staying. We will be returning to Marsden and hope we will be able to stay once again as it ticks all boxes. We didn't have the pleasure of meeting in person but Michelle and John's communication was so quick and could not have been more friendly and helpful.

This was an absolutely exquisite AIRBNB to stay in. We had stayed a couple of days before in a rather unpleasant AIRBNB and so upon arrival at Joanne‘s place we took a deep breath of relief and felt right at home. Everything was clean and neat and well organised. Bedding was crisp and white. A lovely basket of drinks and snacks welcomed us. A well working washing machine was much used after our previous trip! The dishwasher was clean and efficient. Bathrooms and showers were all in great working order. The views from all the windows were absolutely delightful. We were in town visiting relatives and we thoroughly enjoyed having them over to experience the delightful home that Joanne had opened up to us. Some AIRBNB hosts tend to approach their hosting half-heartedly, but Joanne‘s approach was very professional and very thoughtful. We definitely recommend her AIRBNB 150%. We were sorry to leave

Perfect for our weekend. The accommodation was perfect, in fact we were taken back with how there cupboards were full off useful things…. Condiments, sauces, toiletries and that’s just a few I can mention. Appreciated the milk, bread, butter, nice gesture and makes a difference to some places who don’t offer that. Host also helped us out when our car broke down whilst we were there and went above and beyond to help sort it out for us. Overall the place was lovely, more than I actually expected, clean, tidy and perfect. Would definitely stay again if ever visiting Wigan. Thank you

Nice stay for the UFC in Manchester, was easy access to the city centre with a bus stop right outside the apartment and also a tram stop a 10 minute walk away, Ubers were quick and average of £10 to get around the area. Would definitely return when going to Manchester.

A lovely stay in a great place with a kind host! The walk up the hill in the evening to watch the sunset was fab. And there were little lambs. Very quiet location and property exactly as described, nicer than the pictures. Thanks for the stay!

Centrally located in the lovely and friendly town of New Mills, this place was perfect for your small family and pooch to explore the local area. As a self-contained apartment it's all on one floor, plus a lovely small decking area offering fantastic views. We will definitely return!

Had a great stay! Great location, apartment had everything needed for our 2 night stay. Prestwich area is lovely with good transport links to Manchester City centre. Lovely hosts who were helpful and friendly, would definitely recommend.
