Vacation rentals with a pool in Great Barrier Reef

I had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was friendly and responsive, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Had a wonderful stay at Carmen’s residence in Cairns in early June. The residence is located about 25 minutes the airport by car as well as the center of town and the marina where you can catch boats for excursions. So, you’ll need to drive or rent a taxi/Uber. The house is located Inside a gated community estate and there’s a code that you’ll need to give any arriving taxis. The treehouse itself was absolutely gorgeous, with three floors, multiple rooms, a pool, and surrounded by lush greenery. It felt like we were in a forest! If you’re adventurous, you can even take a private path to the beach and nearby cafes—but be warned, it can be treacherous! Overall, this was a great find. And our hosts were proactive with messages and suggestions that were quite helpful. The only regret we have is that we didn’t get to spend MORE time here!

The house was amazing, looked just like the pictures. The views were beautiful, and positioned in a lovely spot where the rock wallabies come right past. Great communication from host Ekaterina and Raymond the property manager was also very helpful. Will definitely recommend to anyone wanting a luxury stay in Maggie and we will definitely be staying there again.

Our 2nd time back. A home away from home. You want for anything as it has it all. The local restaurants are awesome. Noa cafe for brekky and coffee. Guerrilla Mexican next level good! Haruka for Japanese style and Teddy's for your takeaway coffees. Don't forget Edge Hill Butchery for the best meat in Cairns. Seriously it's a great house in a good neighborhood with a nice High Street. We will be back

We loved our stay, it was big enough to easily accommodate 6 adults and 3 kids with everything you can need. Block out blinds would be great for those wanting to sleep in and the road below is very busy but quiet when all doors are closed. We would absolutely stay again.

What an amazing place, we had such a fun time! The views are amazing, lovely plunge pool to cool off when it got hot overlooking the rainforest. Pool table and darts to keep us all entertained in the evening. Enough hammocks, swing chairs and couches for everyone to find a spot to relax. Plenty of wildlife about, lots of new critters us Melbournians had never seen before, our 7 year old loved it! We went and explored a few things while we were here but we could have honestly just as easily spent the entire time just enjoying ourselves at the property. Absolutely a little slice of paradise Dean has created, also props to him for his communication and making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves.

This is our second visit to the Wallaby House and I don’t see it being our last! As a family with little ones- being able to see the ocean and the pool from the kitchen is a big win!! The fact that the house is spacious, with a big back yard- makes it perfect for the kids to play outside and not get cabin fever! My 19month old, 4 and 6 year olds all walked to the beach and back so the location is just perfect for us! Definitely a gem!

Fabulous getaway spot! Photos do not do this beautiful property justice. Spacious, amazing views and quiet location. Best place to relax and unwind. Beach was beautiful and so close to Arlie Beach to grab supplies. Louise was so prompt and helpful with all communication. Can’t wait to visit again.

What a beautiful location - loved the large balcony overlooking the ocean with stunning views from the bedroom too! Enjoyable stay!! Would come back again ☺️

I had a wonderful stay at Andrea’s apartment at 201 Lake Street, Cairns. The place was clean, well-furnished, and very comfortable—perfect for a relaxing visit. It had everything I needed for a great stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, a comfortable bed, and a modern bathroom. The building also had a pool and secure parking, which were great bonuses. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Esplanade, restaurants, shops, and the marina. Andrea was very easy to deal with—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the booking and stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cairns.

What an amazing place - so suited to the tropical North. Plenty of room inside and well laid out and spotlessly clean. A bit of a walk into town or just a AUD5 taxi ride if the heat makes you feel lazy. Highly recommended!

Great stay right in the heart of Palm Cove. The condo had everything we needed for our stay. The unit was VERY clean. The spa on the balcony makes it perfect for a couples retreat. It's a bit further back from the pool area which makes it more private. All the little things mattered too..like gym towels, coffee pods, tennis rackets etc. We will definitely stay here again. Andrew’s apartment is amazing, and a great find. It is furnished modern and extremely clean, and has lots thoughtful extras in the kitchen and bathrooms. Any communications we had with Andrew were responded by him promptly. The location is quiet, yet very close to amenities. We would highly recommend this property, and certainly will look to rebook when we are back in Cairns.
