Vacation rentals in Grande Cache

David is a superb host. He met us at the cabin, helped us get settled, showed us how to work the various amenities, and made sure our inReach communication system was set up and working properly in case of an emergency. The cabin was gorgeous and the locale indescribably beautiful and pristine. We spent a week exploring the ridges and the nearby peaks, which we had all to ourselves. I did not want to leave! Best holiday ever.

The hosts were so friendly and helped answering all of our questions. The area is stunning and the houses are nicely done up.

We had a wonderful & peaceful stay!!! Follow the very clear directions on getting there and don’t second guess yourself… you are on a dirt road for what can feel like a while. The screened in porch was our favorite spot to sit and read a book. We ventured over to the lake and canoed! Then played cards at the picnic table. The airbnb kitchen was more stocked than I was expecting with a whole rack of spices!!! We were extremely delighted with the way this quaint space felt so homey. We would definitely recommend and stay again! On check in and anytime we ventured over to the main lodge we left so welcome!!

Well worth a stay! Beautiful cabin, with all the comforts of home, in the middle of a postcard like landscape. Plenty of close by walking trails and wildlife to see. Hosts are friendly and knowledgeable and more than willing to go the extra mile to make your stay special. Highly recommend- I will be booking again!

Absolutely brilliant and well worth a visit. The area is so serene, it is very off grid, more than we expected (about 45 minutes on gravel road) but it just added to the whole experience. Gary & Julia were superb hosts, so informative and helpful, great to chat to and also super friendly. The lodge was everything we imagined and more, we left the curtains open every night to wake up to the natural light and wildlife, cooking out on the griddle was awesome too. There is a whole host of walks and trails, which are definitely worth it. We were a little apprehensive on coming across a bear at first, being from the UK but after getting our bearings (no pun intended) we felt very comfortable on the land. Overall an amazing experience, and one we’ll certainly be doing again. Thank you both for an amazing stay.

We enjoyed the peaceful time spent at the cabin. We went for an easy hike and we're delighted of all the beauty surrounding us. Gary was most welcoming and super easy to get along with. We really liked to be off grid, no wifi, no cell ! Ideal way to disconnect from our busy life. Thank you !

Stayed at Dan's for a 2 weeks while working in the area. House was comfortable and clean. Dan was quick to respond and accommodating to any questions that we had. Would stay again if in the area forsure !
