Me and my family had a great weekend and made memories we will have forever! The place was beautiful 10/10 recommend & we definitely will be back!!

Sydney’s house was perfect for our family! It was clean, with beautiful views on a quiet, private street. The house had plenty of toiletries, we didn’t need to buy any household items while there. The hot tub was clean and perfect for a breezy afternoon looking out at the water. Sydney was a great host, providing tons of recommendations on places to dine and sites to see. Perfect location to visit both the Schoodic Peninsula and Acadia National Park/Bar Harbor! Would love to stay here again.

Very pleasant place to stay and the owners were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Very responsive. Would give more than 5 stars if I could. Highly recommend.

The location of the house was perfect for our visit to Acadia. It was very quiet and serene with beautiful views of the lake. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and the fire pit at night. We highly recommended this hidden little gem.

Great stay for our family of 5 adults and 3 toddlers! Lots to do and great proximity to Acadia/Bar Harbor. House was well supplied with clear instructions. Brady also connected with us before the stay and kept in touch for anything that came up as a concern. Thank you!

What a beautiful stay. It was my first time in the area and at Acadia NP and I’m so happy I chose Jackie’s place in Winter Harbor rather than the busy Bar Harbor side. It was so peaceful and quiet in the evenings. There were also walking distance hikes in Acadia NP. There is a ferry on the Winter Harbor side to take into Bar Harbor which was a lovely scenic trip and incredibly convenient. There is a delicious seafood restaurant right down the street that was walking distance from the house as well. Jackie was so responsive and a great host. I would 10/10 book again.

Took a family trip to Acadia and this was a great place to stay. The house was very comfortable and enjoyed the on-site hiking trails and sitting down at the lake and having a wine. Appreciate the quick response from the owner when I had a question. Great getaway!!! Thank you for a memorable stay!

A beautiful house, top quality furnishings, lots of space, absolutely spectacular scenery

I was looking for a comfortable place to stay while my husband and I were town, and this was definitely it! We felt right comfortable and right at home, and it was wonderful having the whole place to ourselves. The location is beautiful and tranquil, and you can't ask for a better view. There were a few minor hiccups while we were there, but Ashley was proactive and responded immediately. We will be back in the future and recommend this place to others as well!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in Holden, ME! This Airbnb was so nice and clean and pretty close to Acadia National Park. I needed to stay close to work in the park and this spot was the perfect distance away. It was quiet, peaceful, and away from tourist traffic. Also close to gas stations and a grocery store. The hosts were so friendly and nice and we would highly recommend anyone stay here! Thank you Dana + family!

Our time at Small Wonder was nothing short of magical. This was a 25+ year trip in the making to Maine and we were so please. Traci has a beautiful camp that has all the amenities of home and beyond. It was well stocked with all that we needed and more and the property was better than any photo shown. We enjoyed the remoteness and the sense of a community within the area and would love to spend more time here and at East Grand Lake in the future. Thank you from our family to yours! We stayed at this place for a weekend! Family of 4! Everything was great! Very peaceful surroundings! Quite, private and gorgeous. We enjoyed kayaking, I managed to cut white perch from the ramp, used grill once. Place looks new and welcoming. I wish we had more time to spend at the house. Bar Harbor/Acadia/Sand Beach is less then an hour away, easy access with no traffic. Meghan was very responsive! Our flight was not until 6pm and she allowed for a late check out. Book this place with no doubt, you will not regret. Will comfortably accommodate a family of 5.

Sandy’s property was amazing. The lake is beautiful the house is so well decorated and spacious. She was extremely responsive for any questions and even messaged to check in during our stay. The house was full of amenities, the kayaks were our favorite. Will definitely stay again!

Natalie and April's cabin on the lake is absolutely amazing! Extremely quiet and so peacefully relaxing! Very clean and organized with just about everything you could imagine needing available to you! We will definitely be booking with these wonderful ladies again next time we are visiting!

Tim’s place was absolutely perfect for our multi-generational family vacation. Everyone had all they needed and were super happy with their accommodations and the amenities at his beautiful lake house. He was very responsive and helpful. It truly felt like we were staying at a friend’s place as we had access to just about the entire house and garage, both of which were stocked with everything imaginable for a peaceful and relaxing stay on a gorgeous lake. When and if we plan another trip to Ellsworth, Tim will be my first call!

Melissa was a great host very friendly and easy to communicate with would definitely recommend if your looking for a very relaxing place to stay!! thank you again Melissa my husband and I enjoyed ourselves very much and will definitely be rebooking again soon!!

Jane’s place is an absolute dream. The view is outstanding. We watched the tides come in and out, used binoculars to see wildlife come and go, and witnessed a couple amazing sunrises and sunsets. Even on a rainy, cold day, you’re surrounded by beauty and warm indoors. The bed is very comfortable, and we cooked a few meals in the kitchen. We played some of the games in one of the closets and enjoyed not having WiFi access. We hiked the Great Wass Island preserve at low tide, (took 4 hours, wear good boots) which is walkable from the AirBnB. If you want to be near the ocean and far from the tourist traps, this is the place to spend your time.

Beautiful and relaxing location staying in a contemporary home which blends seamlessly with the setting. The rocky beach is down a staircase and we loved strolling and soaking in the sea air. The kitchen is very well equipped and we appreciated all the extras such as olive oil and spices. Kate is a very accommodating host and our short stay was really superb.

A little slice of heaven! The Nest was everything we hoped for and more. The sunsets over the crystal-clear lake were stunning, but what really struck us was how long the colors linger in the sky up here, creating the most peaceful and relaxing mood to close out each day. The cabin itself was cozy, thoughtfully designed, and the perfect size for our getaway. We left feeling refreshed and grateful, already looking forward to a return visit.

This place was absolutely perfect! Definitely book this place, Erin thought of all the little details- even left coffee and cream. We loved the uniqueness and character of the River Dome. It has everything for a perfect getaway. Our boys loved the jacuzzi, kayaks, and view. We would certainly come back!

We had a wonderful weekend staying at Brianne’s place in Chamcook. This was our second time visiting & we were so excited to be back. The home had everything we could need and our hosts were very responsive and helpful. We were travelling with our children and appreciated all of the board games, toys & baby gear at the house. Highlight of the weekend was how much sea glass we found during walks on the beach! Definitely recommend!

Was the perfect get away for a bunch of tired moms. It was relaxing and beautiful! Tammy was very easy to communicate with and even checked in on us during the stay to make sure all was well. Very thoughtful. House was stocked with supplies and the tub was awesome!
