Kick back and relax in this peaceful , modern, 5 year old home. Riverfront property on 5 acres. Amazing view of the Long Range Mountains across the the Grand Codroy River. A bird watcher's paradise, on a licensed salmon river , with the ocean and beaches 10 minutes away. The pace of life is slower here. A canoe ride from the front lawn brings you to ducks, geese, beavers and other wildlife. Hiking trails with stunning views, quiet rural roads for the cyclist. It's truly a beautiful get away!

Lucille and Mel are excellent hosts of Mountain Vista. They are available to answer questions regarding your stay, as well as questions concerning the surrounding area (Codroy Valley). The bungalow we occupied was new, modern, and just recently offered for occupancy. It is supplied with all that you would need to enjoy your stay (see their listing). Ample parking provided with personal use of a side deck, including gas BBQ, and a shared roofed lighted swing and picnic table area. There is also a fire pit behind the bungalow. The living room window has a view of the Long Range Mountains including a farm across the street; well worth the morning and evening gaze. The location is tranquil and private. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely stunning accommodation! Adam and his wife were so kind and helpful. This place was a total dream for this Ontario girl. From the front porch you can see the lighthouse and watch the sunset on the ocean. Exactly what I was hoping for. The cabin itself is very well thought out and spotless! Also, the beds were extremely comfortable! Thank you all for the wonderful experience and friendly chats. This was a stay we’ll never forget and will recommend to our friends.

A very peaceful little cottage on the river. I had planned to do more adventuring during our visit to Codroy Valley, but turned out sitting on the porch listening to the silence & watching the tide go in & out was way better. Would definitely stay again. Perfect little getaway, thanks for letting us visit!

We were here for a cross-Newfoundland ATV trip. The house is right off the T-railway and is close to many great day trips with lots of scenery. Great “hunting camp” style setup with individual rooms with bath rooms.
