We loved our stay at Ian's place. he has a full team (welcome, maintenance, pool, concierge) whose kindness and efficiency allowed us to have a stay without any clouds. The house is quiet, about ten minutes from Peyrebere beach, which is one of the most pleasant beaches on the island. The accommodation is spacious, comfortable and well-equipped and the garden allows you to rest by the pool. I would definitely recommend again again again again again again

10* out of 5 – amazing experience! One of the best Airbnb stays ever. The property is just a 5-min walk to the beach and 7 mins to a beach club (if you need a sunbed and umbrella). The ocean nearby is full of corals (100-150 meters from shore) – great for snorkelling. Shops and restaurants are within 10-12 mins walk or a couple mins by car. Two dive centres are nearby (5 and 15 mins walk). If you rent a car it gives you easy access to Pereybere, Mon Choisy, Cap Malheureux, and main roads across the island. The house is very clean, cozy, and well-equipped – from a BBQ to a beach umbrella. Mohamed and his family are exceptional hosts. He was incredibly forthcoming and attentive – met us at the airport, gave a tour of Port Louis and the west, checked in regularly, shared great local tips, helped us with the checkout and even brought sweets on Eid Mubarak, which was very nice! This stay was exactly what Airbnb was made for – a real home away from home! I definitely recommend to stay here!

I can’t praise this property or the host enough. The home is exceptional, modern, clean and very well equipped. Perfect location, you can walk to beach. Pool is lovely. Xavier's recommendations were so good.

Our friend group had an amazing stay in this beautiful gem. The common areas are perfect for dinners with family or friends. All the rooms are nice and spacious. Rosemay's house is even more amazing when you get there than in the photos! All the rooms overlook the pool, it's lovely. The beds are very large and comfortable, the bathrooms as well. We didn't lack anything for 15 days. I'll finish with Rosemay, who is very kind and always available to answer our questions. NO HESITATION TO HAVE!! We hope to be back soon. 🥰🇲🇺

As other reviewers have mentioned, Shirley's home is a lovely oasis in a lively area of Mauritius. The local beach nearby is beautiful, and there are many amazing restaurants (Bloom being a particular favorite!) nearby. The outside area and pool is perfect for a group of friends or family to hang out around, and the mangoes from the tree were our favorite treat every morning for breakfast! The best part of the stay however is Shirley and her team Indaree and Karen. They are incredibly kind and take such great care of the place. Karen even babysat our 8 month old so we could experience the boat day with Robert (which is another must do!). Shirley was such a helpful and proactive host - arranged a rental car for us, provided great recommendations and was always responsive. She even offered us a late checkout without even having to request it once she knew we had an evening flight. All in all an amazing stay that we will remember fondly!

Wonderful accommodation. Michael and Stefanie are fantastic and super efficient. Villas are clean, spacious and very comfortable. The pool is just amazing and we loved our evening swims. Brighthelm Villas is located in a great location, close to the beaches (5mins drive) and supermarkets (5mins drive). You do need a car to get around but the team at Brighthelm Villas can assist. All in all we had a really good relaxed trip and highly recommend Brighthelm Villas.

We had a wonderful holiday at this lovely villa very well decorated and functional! Everything was perfect , the covered outdoor terrace is very nice, the kitchen is fully equipped ( nothing is missing ). Kitty ( the cleaning lady) is very nice and really pampered us! Cleaning was done every morning! You can ask Geraldine for a cook who will prepare small dishes for you too! Close to large bay; deer hole; etc... it is essential for Mauritius to rent a car , the location of the villa will allow you to discover many corners of the island! For all those who like us do not appreciate the huge luxury hotels with an incalculable number of rooms, which in the end does not make you discover a country but can accommodate you inside! You will find in this villa everything you need for a beautiful vacation of discovery and relaxation! Thanks again and see you next year!!!

The villa is situated in a nice villa park, secure and peaceful. Modern amenities in the house, nicely decorated. Digitally connected home. We felt very comfortable, just like at home. The host is also responsive and helpful. We appreciate the stay and really enjoyed it.

We had a fantastic 10-day stay at Fafa's villa! It was perfect for our group of four adults and a toddler. The villa is spacious, bright, and very comfortable. We especially appreciated Fafa arranging a crib and high chair for our little one – thank you! The waterfront is also conveniently located, just a short 5-minute walk away. Fafa and the team really made us feel welcome. They went above and beyond with thoughtful touches like fresh coconuts from the garden and delicious local sandwiches. Bob, the property's maintenance person, was amazing. He took care of everything promptly and was always happy to share stories and local tips, which made our stay feel very personal. During our stay, we experienced a couple of minor issues, like slow Wi-Fi. However, these were addressed quickly and efficiently. For example, the Wi-Fi provider came and upgraded the service. Overall, we highly recommend Fafa's villa for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

This place is just wonderful! We - a family of four with adult children - stayed there for a week and enjoyed every minute. The private pool makes the apartment worth every dime - it is quite deep and long enough to get a proper swim. The flat is very spacious, and the sun conditions around the pool is really good. Big fridge and freezer, nice bathrooms, and ac on both bedrooms. It is a 12-15 minutes walk along the road to go to the beach in Pereybere, but it feels shorter every time you walk it. The check-in and -out is very proffesional, and the communication is fast and precise.

We spent nice week in Pereybere as family 2+3. Small village has everything, beautiful beach, supermarket and few restaurants. Surroundings are clean and good for walks. Thank you.

Great house and hostess. Quiet, birds singing in the morning, very interesting Bali and Middle East design of the villa, each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower, lots of green around. Each bedroom has air conditioning, which at night in the heat is a real lifesaver. The pool is a separate gem, large enough, with a comfortable temperature and a place to relax. The furniture is antique and very beautiful, have been to a museum in a colonial house on the island, so this villa feels like a museum. There are restaurants, shops and water excursions nearby. They also sell freshly caught fish near the church with the red roof. Definitely recommended! Thanks for everything!

Finally an authentic Mauritian experience! The most beautiful thatched roof villa on the most beautiful private beach. Crystal clear water..luscious palms..incredible sunsets..waking to bird song..seafood barbecues...walks along the beach..sitting on the veranda with a glass in hand..And yes, many excellent restaurants and shopping opportunities close by if this is what you want to do..Everything was perfect. As a family we could not have asked for more. A massive thank you to Dominique and her amazing team for this experience! Dominique you are a most gracious host. The memories will stay with all of us forever..and if the future allows..we would definitely visit again!

Valène is up there with the best hosts of Airbnb’s. Very responsive, friendly and welcoming. She even arranged for the fridge to be full and an affordable car rent. The place it self is absolutely perfect, especially with small kids. We had a very enjoyable and calm week. Would definitely recommend

A wonderful stay. The villa has spectacular views to the north and the layout for indoor/outdoor relaxation is fantastic. A lovely pool that gets north sun so is warm even in Mauritius 'winters'. Daily cleans from Pooga worked well - I was alone so never availed myself of any of her cooking which I gather is also an option. The place is near 'everything' - the best restaurant in the country is 20 mins away and there are tons of options 5-15 mins away. Groceries are as little as 5 mins away, 12 tops. Nice spa is also only 5 minutes away. Sunsets are glorious every night. Looking forward to another visit!

We were blown away by the beauty of the villa when we arrived. It is the perfect balance of luxury & home, without feeling like you have invaded someone else's space. The staff were great at keeping the place tip top, and we enjoyed some gorgeous mauritian cuisine prepared. The garden and pool are a stunning place to enjoy the Mauritian sunshine. Whole heartedly recommended!

Necessary introduction, magnificent place and really nice and cozy house. So I recommend the experience, very positive. Only flaws in the details: the kitchen and one bathroom had burnt-out light bulbs, after a long correspondence with the concierge staff no one was waiting for us on arrival (check-in scheduled for 2:00 p.m. but we asked to anticipate considering the duration of the flight). Upon arrival we did not find bottled water (after 14 hours of travel it would have been appreciated). Dishes to be washed, dishwasher that did not wash properly, just a few coffee pods. When you pay 2,500 euros a week, certain things should be adjusted. In any case, these are details, the house, the view and the location solved every problem

Beautiful stay, I highly recommend it, very nice peaceful exterior with lots of space and a very nice, very nice pool. The kitchen lounge is just perfect, the bedrooms and bathrooms are really clean spacious and well decorated. I would definitely recommend it
