It’s always a treat to stay at the Partridge House!

i can't specifically comment on the room since i got upgraded to a bigger room. this is a traditional bed and breakfast experience and it was really fantastic. the hosts were great in terms of welcoming guests, providing dinner and activity suggestions, great conversation and interaction w/ other guests. it is nice to be able to slow down a bit, and the Glynn house is perfect for doing so. also, a fantastic sit-down breakfast is included in the price, so i would say that it is particularly good value compared to other lodging options.

Always a pleasure staying with Susan. Home feel that’s warm, clean, and smells great. A lot of activities in the house and in the surrounding areas. Erica makes a delicious breakfast each morning. Will always stay here when coming to NH.

Dear Mountain Fare Inn staff, Thank you so very much for accommodating myself and my now fiancé. Room #9 was absolutely perfect and beautiful for such the an occasion. The room was pristine, clean and we really got a kick out of the wood burning stove (which we used exclusively for the heat). Norwich is a quaint small town, with a downtown of pretty much one street. If you are looking for peace and quiet to take in beautiful surroundings, then it is the town to be. The Partridge House is the perfect image of a New England B and B. Old house with old charms and the feeling of being in a home that wants you there. Ciaran is very friendly and makes a great breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay in a charming 1700s-era home, filled with historical features that made it warm and inviting. Our host, David, was exceptionally gracious, meeting us late in the evening and accommodating our request for breakfast to go, including options for my wife's lactose intolerance. I highly recommend David's inn.

Wonderful stay at the Inn! We were visiting family on Squam Lake, the Inn was a great location! Easy check in, clean, comfortable and we had a delicious breakfast. We won’t hesitate to stay here again the next time we’re visiting Holderness.

I wish I’d discovered Sue’s Inn earlier!! It’s such a wonderful and cozy experience. I met interesting people, some of which had been going to the Inn for more than a decade. The fire was very cozy and Sue’s breakfast was delicious. Sue was very welcoming and shared history about the area. Extremely reasonable prices, beautiful location, lovely host, and wonderful experience. I now own a place in N.H., but otherwise this would be my go to place!

We loved our stay at the Kinsman Lodge! Right from the booking, Sue was extremely caring and attentive. Our rooms, like the entire place, were very quaint and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding and included delicious muffins and options that Sue herself prepared everyday. That region of NH is extremely beautiful and Sue gave us great hiking trail recommendations among the many options that exist in the area. Do hope we can visit NH again in the future and stay at the Kinsman Lodge :)

My stay at Colonel Spencer Inn far exceeded all possible expectations. The building dates back to before the Revolutionary War and maintains all the charm of the era. David, the host, has wonderful stories about the inn's namesake, and the building's history. The breakfasts were gourmet. I can honestly say I have never, in my life, had a breakfast meal as wonderfully crafted as these. They were delicious, and fresh. They were not drowned in sauces or creams or other trickery; the made with the freshest of ingredients and prepared by a culinary master. This was every bit a wonderful stay.

Susan is one of those rarities you find out in travels with a welcoming demeanor, helpful suggestions and a person who creates a connection to the history of the place. That connection is to both the Inn you are staying at and the area you are staying in. She is a true Inn Keeper rather than someone who provides short term room rentals and there is a world of difference between those two types of people. Her kindness was endless and we really enjoyed her ability to connect and then take care of business. The breakfasts were delicious and thoughtful including homemade dishes from local sources. Beds were comfortable, sitting areas were well supplied with games and books and rules were fairly and politely enforced so that all guests received the same great experience. One of our favorite all time stays!

Really cute bed and breakfast that makes you feel right at home. Great location with close proximity to Waterville and Loon. The breakfast spread is great and the sauna a must-have after a wintry day outdoors. Highly recommend and will definitely return!

Erika, her husband Mike, and her three children run a wonderful bed and breakfast. Everything here is perfect and clean, beds and linens were comfy, and the breakfast and the hospitality are second to none!

My second stay in another lovely room with a private bathroom. April is such a welcoming host, and her place is incredibly well-cared for and stocked with everything you could need. Highly recommended!

Bjorn and Elaine are wonderful hosts of a beautiful, historic site. The house itself is rich with lovely historic details including wide plank floors that one would never see, old glass, incredible wood beams, and more. Bjorn and Elaine could not have been more welcoming and kind. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return should we find ourselves at the beautiful lake in the future. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed!

Bjorn and Elaine know how look after their guests. It was a pleasure to stay with them whilst exploring the White Mountains region. They gave good food recommendations nearby, made me extra coffee for my flask and asked me about the adventures I had been on. Perfect hosting! The room was super clean and comfortable with space to park the car and lovely indoor and outdoor areas for guests to enjoy a coffee or a beer. Will stay there again if I’m in town.

The hosts were so nice! We weren’t there a whole lot because we had wedding things to do, but they were so welcoming and kind. Had a whole set up for breakfast, coffee, waters, etc and it was only my guest and I there. It made you feel really special. They gave us our space. We’re very attentive hosts. They offered for us to use the bonfires outside too! The history of the place was really cool. Each room downstairs had a working fireplace blazing and I wish I had time to sit down and cozy up with a book. They also gave us recommendations for trails near them and shopping suggestions. There wasn’t any Ubers in the area and the hosts actually gave us a recommendation for a car service, which came in clutch. First time staying in a bed and breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be booking again at 6 Chimneys.

This was our first B&B and it was AMAZING to stay in this BEAUTIFUL HISTORIC HOUSE! Bjorn and Elaine were incredible hosts!! Weekend Breakfast was divine and we enjoyed the carefree atmosphere and the fun conversations with them and other guests. Elaine and Bjorn are a wonderful couple. It felt like a fun family gathering in the kitchen. We absolutely loved every aspect of our stay. Our rooms were impeccably clean and cozy. I highly recommend staying here. Until the next time!
