Vacation rentals in Grad Stari Grad

We were greeted upon our arrival and recommended several taxi services to transport us to and from the port-a 15 minute ride up on a beautiful scenic route to the Villa. We would recommend renting a car or UTV, as there was parking and it can become expensive to go by taxi. The Villa was as shown on the listing , 3 bedrooms with on suite bathrooms as well as an adjacent villa; providing some intimacy to guests . There was however no curtains in that guest Villa but did have its own laundry machine and full kitchen. The Villa was equipped with coffees/teas, sugar, ice machine , soaps and a lot of fresh towels , as well as beach towels . Anything we needed was there . We didn’t have to think about anything . There was more than enough for 8 guests . Villa was clean and comfortable. If you want picturesque views , in an insanely quiet neighbourhood , we 100 percent recommend Tonina and her family’s place . Alviz , their restaurant in the port was tasty!

Great location, just 5-8 min walk to the harbour and old town! We had a great stay! Marija is really nice and helpful!

Great view, pool and outside space. Easy walk to Great restaurant and good location for Jelsa, Stari Grad and Hvar. Rajka very helpful and generous, great recommendation for boat hire and house very well equipped. Thank you.

Very nice stone house in a small place near Stari Grad. The amenities are very good, there was everything we needed as a family. Washing machine, sun loungers in the courtyard, air conditioning on the two upper floors:) A rental car to explore the island is definitely recommended, especially in summer. Thanks for the wonderful time on Hvar!

What a great apartment, one of those rare finds you’re lucky to encounter. One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed in and definitely the nicest on Hvar. So thoughtfully creatively decorated with handcrafted details as well as antique pieces that are specific to the area, also very comfortable and well equipped, very comfy beds and has everything you could need. Lovely terraces and views. Very friendly and welcoming host. Thank you we look forward to coming back.

10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE - top Airbnb in Hvar (or possibly the whole world) Best view on the entire island. Absolutely amazing hosts and amazing accommodations, super clean and quaint place. renting scooters to get around was a game changer, bring snacks for the kitties :) taxi recommendation from host was easy to call up to get for nights out. you’re the only residents on the hill so enjoyed the privacy yet easily accessibility to Hvar and Milna via 5-10min scooter ride. Literally cannot say more about how awesome this place / experience was!!!! Wish we could include pictures of the view from the living room because it was breathe-taking. Would ONLY stay here when we return :) a few steps to climb and probably not recommended for older folks who can’t haul luggage up but totally worth it for the view, the house, and the amazing hosts if you’re able. We’ll be back next time!

Manuela has been a great host from the beginning, proactive in her communication, very responsive to questions and providing great tips and recommendations. Her house is confortable, spacious and located just a short walk away from the beach and from the village. The outdoor kitchen and sitting areas are great to relax. We had a very nice stay!
