You will not be able to enter the building until cleaning is finished, but you can enjoy the sea and garden on the premises from 2:00 pm. You can enjoy the beautiful ocean view from the house. We have a BBQ grill set, so you can have fun with your family and friends! You can see Netflix/Amazon prime/Youtube with the projector in the living room! It is recommended that you check in as soon as possible because it is difficult to see ahead of the path that enters the premises after the sun sets.

A nice, relaxing way to ring in the new year. The house is small, but spacious, with lots of new amenities. I was a bit concerned that the sky lights might wake me up prematurely in the morning, but not so. And honestly, that was the best pillow I’ve ever borrowed for the evening. Sadly, I wasn’t able to utilize the complementary fishing gear that was provided, but I do intend to return later in the year. The local area is quaint. I highly recommend the cafe that is within a few minutes walk from the house.

The villa is so beautifully and lovingly restored that the photos do not do it justice. It has all the amenities you need to enjoy a fun and comfortable stay on Fukue Island. The host is so friendly and kind and she welcomed us in person to show us the details of the house. She also lives next door so it felt very safe, but still private. There are plenty of maps and brochures with suggestions of what to do on the island, which was super helpful. This stay was like a dream - we cannot wait to return!

佐世保の中心街に近く便利な場所ですが、夜はとても静かに過ごせました。大スクリーンで映像を見られるので、映画好きの方には滞在の楽しみがあります。キッチンには調理器具、調味料がそろっていて、ドラム式洗濯機で洗濯乾燥できるので、長期滞在に便利な設備が完備されています。

If you’re looking for a very unique experience, this is it. Staying on the grounds of a temple in an ideal location, wedged between mountains and the sea can’t be beat. The host is super friendly and down to earth. Recommended us an amazing sushi spot just around the corner!! Place isn’t huge, but it’s really nicely set up to be not only comfortable, but to really feel like you’re in a different world.
