Charming Kuskbostaden in Hajstorp by Göta Canal

Hajstorp is an idyll at Göta Kanal, about 5 km north of Töreboda. In Hajstorp there is a café and hostel. At the southwest end of Hajstorp is Kanalingenjörsvillan, which has been a service residence for the canal engineers between 1902 and 1977. Today the Lahrin family lives in the villa. In a secluded part of the large garden is the small coachman's house. It is from the mid-19th century but has been carefully equipped with a toilet and small kitchenette. A simple accommodation for those who appreciate old buildings.

The apartment is in the same building as two others. Four separate bedrooms, each with space for two guests. One bed is a double, the rest are singles, perfect for a family or small group. Feel free to book our floating sauna on the lake, 500 SEK per session. Enjoy the unique tranquility by the water!

Unwind in this oasis and enjoy the silence in the middle of the forest on one of Sweden's smallest plateau mountains. Not far from the house is Kvarnstensgruvan, where you can explore the mines and eat something. There are many hiking trails and nice walking paths in the area. 8 km away is a swimming lake where you also can buy a fishing license. In winter, it is close to a large toboggan run. Electric car chargers are available. Cleaning is not included, but can be purchased for SEK 800.

The seaside town of Mariestad can be reached in 15 minutes.
