Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Gordon County

The house is a great stay and the host is fantastic! Kristen is very responsive, helpful, and even offered to extend our stay at a reduced rate. The house is right on the water with an amazing dock. The community is gated and has great amenities--we enjoyed the playground and the hiking trails. Definitely beats any hotel in the area!

I’m tempted to write a bad review so more dates will be available when I’m ready to come back. This was our 2nd visit and it was great again. So much to do without leaving the house. Fishing, kayaking, volleyball, badminton, ping pong, foosball, fire pit, board games, etc. Great price too! The only problem this time was that the WiFi was a bit spotty, even after a couple resets. Probably for the best though! Looking forward to our next visit soon hopefully.

This was our second time staying at Kerri and Steven’s place! The last time was me and my partner’s anniversary in 2023, and they decorated for us and left us treats. This time we were just going for a little staycation, and it was perfect of course. The bed is extremely comfortable and huge! We like that the TV can basically be seen from anywhere in the living room too! we sat out on the deck when the UV was high and got some sun with a view! So nice :)) Thankyou for hosting us again!

This place was beautiful and clean. It had everything we needed during our stay, including plenty of firewood! The house and amenities were easy to navigate, the light switches were all labeled! One thing that stood out was the smell of the towels and linens. I usually expect scratchy towels that have a bleached smell. These were soft and smelled like they were fresh out of the dryer. Great host and I will definitely book this property again!!

Experience vs. reality can sometimes be different BUT not here! The Treehouse was exactly as described and such an amazing property being located directly on the water. The peace this beautiful stay offered was so special. Will stay again!

We had a great stay over the long weekend! We were in Ball Ground to visit family and had plenty of room! The hosts had everything we could need during our stay and it is a great surrounding community! We will be back!

We stayed at Jeff’s place while traveling home. It is about 3 miles off of 75 and it was convenient. Several dining options. It was fun to see all of the beach decor. They really went all out with the beach theme and we loved it.

We loved our stay at the house on 193. It had plenty of room and the surroundings were just beautiful. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck while drinking our coffee in the morning. It was the perfect spot to enjoy the nature all around the house.

Sarah was very friendly and her place was very cozy and nice! The bed was very comfortable! I will be coming back for sure! Thank you Sarah!

This place is worth the money!!! It is a great location and very peaceful. Less than 10 minutes from Ellijay. And Savannah is an excellent host. She had everything you need plus snacks and drinks. We seriously only needed clothes (although there is a washer and dryer). We will most definitely be back!!

Everything you would want at a home and more! Maryland took in mind every detail while creating the perfect hosting spot. We needed nothing, everything needed was in the home! By far the best home we've stayed in and host! Super friendly and her place was super clean and quiet. Definitely a place worth booking of you're looking to get away and experience relaxation and all the amenities this place has to offer.

Constance was extremely friendly greeting us. The grounds are beautiful and extremely quiet. The room was cozy and we felt right at home.

This place was amazing, highly recommend! We were able to roam around on their 92 acres care free, and we visited some local shops. The host was so amazing to talk to and told me a little bit about the land and history which always makes things so much more personal. We are planning a trip back as we speak. It's so nice to be away from the hustle but still have such amazing things to do around the area.

Our stay was above and beyond what we expected! The suite was extremely clean and very inviting! Jen and her husband are very welcoming! They both took time out of their days to recommend local places to visit while we were here! Once we arrived they gave us a thorough tour and even showed us the event center that is on the property! No details have been forgot about! There is a dog park for pets, a Sauna, hot tub, game closet for rainy days (for all ages!) and a playground for the kids! We truly felt right at home and absolutely loved staying here! We would definitely recommend this location to others!!!

Jody and her husband are consummate professionals. Jody always goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. I stayed there for several months, and some very bad storms. She always let me know what happened on the 2 occasions that the power was out, and it was quickly restored. Anytime storms were coming she brought by a case of bottled water, just in case. The stairs up to the apartment are easy and very sturdy. Not cramped or steep. Everything is very well cared for. For someone desiring a peaceful area, with the convenience of shopping and great variety of restaurants and services within 7 minute drive, this is the BEST. You can go nature walking, biking, or just sit and watch the birds. If I have more work in the area, this is where I will stay. She has the best rates around, and she is absolutely the best to deal with. I wanted to put 12 stars!!!!

my husband and i rented this last minute and it was PERFECT! we loved it. very nice and had a game room with a bar and pool table! perfect for us!

I would definitely stay here again! It was an amazing cabin and a lot bigger than what it looks like in the pictures.

We had a wonderful time here. The place was so clean and it had everything we needed. Only one thing we found uncomfortable was it has only 1 bathroom on the first floor. I was sleeping upstair and when I woke up at the middle of the night, I had to go down. We were 6 of us and kids had to wait for their turn to have shower in line after playing in hot tub. If you are visiting with less than 4 people or so you may experience better. Fire pit place was amazing and looking up the moon and stars was incredible. Kitchen also had more than you need in a perfect condition. I was expecting to get lost in the cabin in the middle of forest but this place is actually surrounded by other houses so not private. When our kids played in hot tub, kids from next door were looking at us. Our kids were so excited to be in cabin so we had to make them quiet all the time. 2nd floor does not have A/C and there are fans in the room. We didn’t have an issue but quiet hot in daytime but ok at nighttime.

What a beautiful cabin. It's like out of a movie. Our group is already making plans to come back.

The Vining’s were such good hosts! David called the day of, to let us know we could check in earlier if needed. He met us at the little cabin and showed us around. His wife had set out fresh flowers and they had picked us up some cute little pastries. He also gave us some good recommendations for where to find restaurants and good mountain view’s! The place was really clean and was just perfect for two people! It was such a good place to relax and get away!

We stayed at the bird house for a quick pit stop on a very long road trip. It was such a special place. We wish we could have stayed longer. The tiny house was so cool and well appointed with an awesome view in beautiful woods. We saw fireflies out the window at night and heard so many birdsongs in the morning. The host was great. I’d highly recommend for a getaway! Heads up—it was not a bother to us but you can hear a train at night within a couple miles’ distance.

Wow! So glad we found this place. We stayed here for the week and wished we could have stayed longer. The views from the property are amazing, unlike any other we have seen in the northern Georgia mountains. Loved the outdoor fire pit and hanging out around the fire at night. The house is sooo cozy and beautifully decorated. The host Mary was amazing! Great communication from her and very responsive. You can tell that she put a lot of time and love into making this feel like a home away from home. The beds were super comfy and made for a couple of mornings of just wanting to veg out. Whole home was very clean inside and out. We liked this place so much we are looking at another trip in the fall. If you are looking for a great place to stay with friends or family look no further!
