Places to stay in Gordo

We had a great stay with our grandkids. The cabin, lake and surroundings are beautiful. The kids loved fishing and boating. We would love to visit again.

Great spot, great views, secluded

Just as described. Lots of at home touches. We had everything we needed and more. Loved watching final 4 basketball games on the back porch while our girls played outside. The beds were comfortable and cozy with added blankets. Would 100% stay here again.

This home was perfect. Visited my Granddaughter at UA for Easter. It was so clean, perfectly decorated to make it so cozy. Kitchen had everthing you can imagine. Close to everything. Will stay here again and bring our dog. Nice fenced in yard.

Place was great . There was a dollar general grocery minutes away from the cabin so getting extra things was easy to do. Will definitely make a trip and use again

This property is listed as a Perfect family getaway and that’s exactly what it is! Our family gathered here for Thanksgiving and we had such a great time. The House(s) were spacious and accommodated us comfortably. The property is absolutely beautiful with plenty of amenities and things to do. The outdoor scenery is amazing. It’s truly a peaceful place.

The setting is peaceful and beautifully rural—exactly what we were looking for to relax and unwind. The home itself was cozy, well-kept, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What truly set this experience apart was the incredible hospitality of our host. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and even helped me fix my car when I ran into some trouble. Their kindness and generosity made all the difference, and I’m so grateful for their help. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with a welcoming host who genuinely cares about your stay, this is the place! I would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Husband and I spent an amazing weekend here. Truly had the feel of a home away from home-anything you think you forgot-Tedra had it! From extra brand new toothbrushes to plenty of extra throw covers, family games, an extra fishing pole and even an abundance of snacks for everyone!! The home is decorated beautifully and very clean. Tedra stayed in touch with us throughout our stay to touch bases with us and check in to make sure everything was going well. Such great hospitality!!!! The river is just feet away from the house and my husband enjoyed attempting to fish, lol! He stated over & over how much he enjoyed the quiet surroundings and being able to just sit on the porch and listen to the river flowing. If i could rate this experience a 100 would! Definitely one of the best kept secrets in Mississippi! Hands down would most definitely do again!
