Downtown Newport is about 2 miles from house. There are several steps which lead to door so you must be able to walk up about 15 steps.

That's because it's only a five minute walk to Easton's beach and the scenic Cliff Walk to the east. Heading west, it would take about ten minutes to walk to downtown Newport.

We had a great stay at the Saltbox. The home is right off Thames street but still very quiet. Great living room with a huge TV and big table for games and puzzles There are 4 full bedrooms as well as a two awesome outdoor decks with water views. KC was extremely flexible with check in and checkout as well as responsive over the app. Couldn't haven been more pleasant and accommodating. I would recommend this home to anyone interested in a trip to Newport

This was by far my best Airbnb experience. Leppy is a wonderful host: warm, thoughtful, and incredibly generous. She made me feel completely at home and went above and beyond to ensure I had a memorable stay. From giving me rides along Ocean Drive and around Newport, to kindly arranging access to The Breakers and the Marble House, she truly made my trip special. Leppy was the highlight of my visit, and I’m so glad I chose to stay at her place. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I have the chance.

Perfect place for our weekend trip! The location was extremely quiet and very walkable to Thames Street. Jennifer responded to messages very quickly and was always proactive in ensuring our comfort. She made sure to communicate with us that the room is very compact and suitable for one or two people. The room was also very clean and stocked with essentials such as plenty of towels, coffee, blankets, umbrella, etc. Would definitely book again if staying for a weekend! Thank you 😊

We had a wonderful stay at Amanda and JJ’s place! They were amazing hosts—super responsive and very friendly, which made everything easy from the start. The home itself was beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. It was the perfect fit for me, my husband, and our kids. We felt right at home the entire time. One of the highlights was the beach just at the end of the street—our daughter loved collecting seashells, and the walk there was lovely. Jamestown, RI is such a charming town, with great food and fun playgrounds for the kids. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Highly recommend staying here—we’d love to come back!
