This is the second time I’ve stayed there. Lovely place with a beautiful westerly sunset view over the mountains and fields. The fridge is stocked with all sorts of goodies including delicious chocolate brownies (thanks Maria). No neighbours, nice and quiet and a perfect place to get away from the town and city to relax and enjoy the surroundings. I have stayed in a couple of places in Cowra, this is by far the best Cowra has to offer…

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This beautiful home is only a 6-minute drive from Gundagai town centre. The views are magnificent and the house is so spacious, clean, well-designed and has all the things you need. Touch-pad entry made it easy getting in and out. It was peaceful and seeing all the natural wildlife and farm animals was a real treat! Thank you Phil for kindly allowing us to stay and enjoy this magical place of yours. We have certainly raved about it with our family and friends already! We wish you every success and hopefully will get the chance to visit again in the future! Group of 8 mid-40s girlfriends had a lovely stay in the old Convent. Everyone had a beautiful comfortable room of their own, and a kitchen/dining/living room that felt like home to catch up in. Homely touches such as a great coffee machine, condiments, loads of glassware and serving bowls, all make it practical and welcoming. Cold dreary weather meant we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors much, but we rugged up and walked to the historic sites nearby and the local pub. We hope to return to the Convent (and Thorpie!) one day soon!
