Original farmhouse from 1756 - Villa Straussengut

According to documents from the 15th century as "Marshallgut," the house was built around the turn of the 18th to 19th century, it was managed by the farmer Franz Meyrl, known as "Strauss," and thus came to be called "Straussengut." From the turn of the 20th century, it was run as a restaurant "Zu den 4 Jahreszeiten" (To the 4 Seasons). In 1937, the Oesterley family took over the property and continued to run the house as a guesthouse called "Eselsbachfarm" and an artists' meeting place.

The property is situated in a prime, unobstructable, quiet¢ral location&is idyllically situated directly on the Augstbach stream. In summer the large sunbathing lawn invites you to relax.Parking is available.
