Or fish on both Windrush and (adjacent) Isis lakes.

On the lake

This is a lovely base in the Cotswolds sitting on the lake, with a south facing aspect. Its family-friendly with plenty of activities in the area including horse riding, walks, gym, golf and even a beach. It is a great getaway for anyone, from couples, solo adventurers, and obviously families (with kids). There are all the essentials indoors from well equipped kitchen with dishwasher to high speed broadband. Oxford, Bath, Stratford upon Avon and Cheltenham are all within an hours drive.

Recently refitted for 2026 to include a new kitchen & a hot tub! Come and take a walk on the wild side in our lovingly restored horse lorry; Bertha. Whether you want to trot into town, jump into the River Wye or canter to the nearest pub, we're sure we'll have something you love. Located within 500 acres of our Herefordshire family farm with plenty of walks & plenty of pubs. For those that want to delve a little further, The Malverns, Forest of Dean & South Wales are a stones throw away.

Deluxe Coach House at Bretforton Manor with pool

The Coach House makes up part of Bretforton Manor, a Grade II-listed Jacobean estate that’s a 10-minute drive from Chipping Campden in the picturesque north Cotswolds. We only have the one property which is luxurious and very spacious for two people. Guests have access to our incredible facilities (5 acres of grounds with an indoor swimming pool, which is open April to Sept and a tennis court). Bretforton is a brilliant base to explore the Cotswolds, Stratford upon Avon, Oxford.

Lovely lodge on a lake sleeps 6 + toddler (travel cot onsite). Inc. linen and towels, except for cot. Apple TV, Sonos, 3 tennis courts, croquet, boules, outdoor chess, table tennis and large playground. FREE fishing. BYO paddle board etc. The DeVere hotel opposite has spa, plus a brasserie. 2 housetrained dogs max. Country Park Beach 8 mins drive. LATE DEPARTURE Sundays on request. Bike hire. FANS in each bedroom.
