Great place for a weekend retreat, very peaceful with amazing views. An afternoon in the hot tub overlooking the water is just what you need after a week of work.

Beautiful house in lovely surroundings. Extremely relaxing stay for my family and I, and a great location for accessing Cotswold water parks and country. Excellent host, provided good information quickly. Would happily come back!

We had a wonderful time. The place is lovely and much nicer and bigger than the photos in my opinion. The host was really responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a trip with friends or family. Kitchen has more than enough glasses/pots/pans etc which was really helpful when cooking a meal for 6. Lovely space and I will be back :-)

Lovely stay in the Cotswolds at this cool house by a lake. Fun stuff to do locally even in a rainy Feb half term. Kids felt safe and really enjoyed it. Special mention to Suus our host who was so helpful and super responsive. Recommended!

Beautiful place to stay, very helpful information folder of the area. You could walk or drive to restaurants/bar. If the weather had been better we would have explored the lakes more. But we got out and about . Very clean and tidy place and everything inside that you could possibly want. We would definitely stay again . Thanks Frannie x

The property has beautiful views over the lake and we could see loads of different water birds. The view was even better than the photos suggested. The property was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped and has an excellent coffee machine. This would be perfect for an extended family group or 2 families sharing. There was lots of storage and places for shoes and coats. The onsite restaurant Balihoo was excellent especially if you are coeliac. There was also a pizza shack that my kids said was great. Clare was a proactive host and the property is run by Orion holidays who sent plenty of communication and information. We will definitely visit again.

Very comfortable stay - exactly where we wanted in the centre of Frampton. Lovely treat to have full breakfast ingredients provided.

We had a lovely stay here, we have a larger dog than the ones I believe the owner expects however Anthony assured us that it wouldn’t be a problem! There were plenty of walks nearby and a great chippy and pub just a few steps up the road! Would definitely stay here again and 100% recommend anyone to stay here if you’re wanting to explore the forest of dean!

A cosy, clean and comfortable place to stay. Powerful shower. Nice dining area. Very friendly host and good food from the chip shop. Nice little high street and pretty walk around the lake.

We had a wonderful stay at Aston House in the beautiful Lower Mill Estate. We were a group of 8 adults, 2 children, and a dog, and the house fitted us all comfortably with plenty of space to relax and unwind after busy days exploring. The living areas were perfect for chilling out and watching TV together. The location was ideal too – just a 30-minute walk along the Thames Path to The White Hart, which was a great bonus. The hosts were extremely responsive and provided clear, helpful instructions throughout. Highly recommend!

Sarah’s place is in lovely surroundings looking out over one of the lakes. We had a lovely relaxing stay and Sarah responded very quickly to our questions. The local brasserie is really reasonable and very nice food. Would recommend!

We had a fantastic time and Stacey was very helpful in recommending a local firm to supply us with a kayak and Paddleboard, the kids really enjoyed it Would definitely recommend and will be returning

What an amazing find. We have just returned from a fabulous stay with our children, at Chris and Alexandra’s gorgeous cottage - the photos don’t do it justice. So much to do and the most stunning views - there really is something for everyone. We didn’t want to leave. Chris and Alexandra were excellent hosts - helpful, friendly and responsive. We definitely will be returning.

We loved the cottage and Lower Mill estate so much that we stayed an extra night. The cottage was lovely with comfy beds, warm and cosy living area and bonus garden that was enclosed so our dog could be let off the lead. There is so much to do from the door step such as long walks round the estate, nature reserve and to local pubs, tennis and swimming on site. Lovely restaurant and bar. We will definitely come again and will look to stay here

Jason was the perfect host. Great communication and the house was just great with all the touches of making sure our stay was as perfect as possible. It’s such a great base for being able to enjoy the surroundings. Our kids had the best time being able to use the estates facilities all as part of our stay at the cottage. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely Easter weekend, brilliant facilities on site. Kids really enjoyed the outdoor pool and tennis. Had a nice walk along Thames path to local pub for Sunday roast. Great stay and friendly host!

Thoroughly loved our time here! We didn’t use the spa but we did get to use the heated outdoor pool. Weather was amazing and we sat outside in the sun with lovely views over the lake. Lovely development and so much to do locally. Property is better than the pictures. It has a lovely homely feel. The kitchen is really well equipped, beds are comfortable and location is amazing.
