Whale watching and dolphin tours depart from nearby Nelson Bay. Eating out includes clubs, take always, a few restaurants ranging from budget to waterfront a la cart. Enjoyable even on rainy days - relax on the leather chaise and watch a video or curl up in the sunny corner with a good book

This is the perfect choice to explore all that Dungog and surrounding areas have to offer. Venture into our native garden, overlooking the picturesque Williams River. Indulge in fishing, go for a swim, or embark on a kayak. You may even catch a glimpse of our adorable local platypus. A fifteen-minute stroll will lead you to Dungog's Main Street, with shops, cafes, and attractions.

The Birdnest

With a wrap-around balcony on two sides, the view from both inside & outside takes in glimpses of Barrington Tops National Park to the north, expansive views of surrounding farms, valleys & hills to the east & south, and the township of Dungog below. Relax, sit back & enjoy yourself. You’ll be sure to leave feeling far lighter & clearer headed than when you arrive. Main with an ultra-comfy king bed and a 65” smart TV Second bedroom with a plush Koala queen sofa bed 55” TV in the living room, mounted from the ceiling for the perfect movie night.

Your own private space detached from the house. Park your car at the front door. Meters from the Lemon Tree Passage bowling club. A 10 minute walk to 3 cafe's and Poyers waterfront dinning. Search for Koalas and Dolphins along the waterfront walks or watch movies on the 64 inch TV. Max 2 people, 25min drive to the Airport, 40min drive to Newcastle. 40 min drive to Port Stephens. Sorry no pets. WiFi is available. Friday night entertainment at the Bowling Club could be loud.

Olen Cabin is our fully equipped guest house, located in the 'back paddock' of our 100 acre property, overlooking lagoons, pasture and gum trees that line the property.  Olen contains one bedroom, one bathroom, a welcoming and light vibe, with fresh decor, chosen for comfort. Stock the fridge with your favourites to enjoy during your stay. It's a chill place, no wifi & very limited phone service. It's time to unplug and reconnect. We hope to welcome you soon.
