Cabin vacation rentals in Gili Gede

The view is impeccable, super gorgeous and stunningly beautiful. However, the bathroom ventilation system is really bad, it keeps the construction smell inside. Really hard to breath when open the door of the bathroom.

We had originally booked for 2 nights, however as soon as we arrived and was shown to our sea view room we knew we wanted to stay longer. We were able to book for 1 extra night. The photos really do not do this accommodation justice, the views are stunning, the grounds are kept clean and tidy by the staff every day, and the room was very clean with complimentary bottled water, tea, coffee, soap and some mosquito repellent. You can make good use of the restaurant here which also offers the option of eating by the sea or at your room. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and a pick up service was arranged by Temple Cafe Cottages to pick us up from the near by harbour for a good price. There is also a laundry service available here which was very handy. Overall we would highly recommend this accommodation and if we could give more than a 5 star rating we would. Thank you for having us.

We totally enjoyed our stay at this accommodation! 🥰 Everything was clean and tidy. The staff was friendly and the fresh cooked breakfast was delicious ☺️ They even offer to rent a scooter for a fair price 🛵

Le logement est juste magnifique ! Le coin paisible tranquille et intime, l’équipe est très sympa et accueillante, prête à tout pour vous satisfaire, et les service impeccable ! Le petit déjeuner est délicieux, seul petit bémol mais qui reste quand même top c’est la nourriture que l’on peu vous servir directement dans le logement le soir, ce n’est pas la meilleur que j’ai vue mais reste bonne. Et un tas d’excellent restaurant ce trouve à quelque minutes de scooter. Je recommande vraiment ce logement pour des vacances en paix dans la nature

Our stay was amazing. Super sweet people and very accommodating. Nice home cooked meals and the laundry service was great and very affordable. They provided transport that was also exceptional service. Beautiful view and so relaxing. Occasionally there are people walking by the rice fields in front but it didn’t bother us at all it was still a quiet mostly isolated stay.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at The Jungle House - what a special place! The photos don’t do it justice - it’s a private oasis in the middle of the mountains surrounded by nature. Waking up to the view of the forest was incredibly special. The kitchen is fully equipped (best we have seen in months of travels) and spacious, with amazing views. Adam (owner) and Angus (manager) were super helpful and kind, stopping on the way back from the ferry for us to have lunch, go past the supermarket and organise a scooter. Adam also lent me an exercise mat so I could do daily yoga on the terrace 😍 We did a great trek to a beautiful waterfall with Angus- definitely recommend! We will surely be back for some more soul connection. Do yourself a favour and book The Jungle House!

Très bien. Hote accueillant et disponible. La vue est très belle et le restaurant très bon. Chambre tout à fait convenable et cosy. Seul petit bémol : la douche qui reste très rustique.

Très original, nous n'avons pas trouvé de logement similaire à celui ci à Nusa Penida. Dommage que le petit bassin privé soit inutilisable alors qu'il est présenté sur les photos, nous n'avons pas été prévenu en amont... Tout le reste était parfait.

Jasri Bay is a very private haven with beautiful gardens and incredible ocean and sunrise views. It's even better than the photos! Lotus was very comfortable, has very tasteful furnishings, with both indoor and outdoor dining options. It has a deck for being under the stars as it features an amazing night sky. The food is truly delicious with a large number of options to choose from. The staff was always kind and helpful. It has a beautiful swimming pool overlooking the ocean. Jasri Bay is just ten minutes from the spectacular Virgin Beach. We hope to return!

Nice place to stay if you are looking to do snorkelling, as you will have a snorkelling company right across the road, and right in front of the beach. There also are some nice Spa and restaurants nearby. Niluh is very friendly and will help you to organise a scooter if you need to, and many other activities, and her food is delicious!!

Tutto perfetto

This place was nothing short of amazing. Definitely looks like the photos so expect to take a lot of your own! I didn't get a chance to eat any of the lunch or dinner due to the weather, but I did get the floating breakfast and it was A LOT! and good! I also had a massage after a long day of flying and that was amazing! You are out in the middle of nowhere, but they do have some tour options that are close to the area. I arrived extremely early and couldn't check in yet so they set up a tour for me to do until I could. Please be advised that this place is in the middle of the rice field, which means.........BUGS!!!!. It's an open space with the exception of the top bedroom. That has windows and doors but it's still not 100% secure so bugs can still get in. Even though they have mosquito nets, for some reason I was still fighting little black ants and gnats that kept getting in the bed. They provide bug spray but I felt like i needed more.

Absolutely best place I stayed. Gede and his lovely family were the most hospitable people ever. Always greeting me in the morning with a smile and a coffee. They helped me at every turn, organising transport, fishing trips. Mama even cooked up my fish into a delicious feast that I shared with the family. I will definitely try to return to Amed, and I will be lucky to be able to stay at Gede’s place again.

excellent place great stay

Eine richtig gemütliche Unterkunft mit tollem dimmbaren Licht, das für gute Stimmung sorgt. Die Lage ist schön ruhig, obwohl die Straße nicht weit ist. Ruhige, menschenleere Strände, einheimische Restaurants und tolle Natur zum Wandern sind nur einige Merkmale der Umgebung. Der Kontakt mit Aaron war immer freundlich, hilfsbereit und man fühlt sich direkt angekommen. Aaron hat mir viele Tipps gegeben und der ganze Aufenthalt hat sich sehr familiär angefühlt. Komme gerne wieder und kann den Aufenthalt nur wärmstens empfehlen :)!!!

The Pyramid Treehouse is absolutely amazing 💚 Everything is like on the pictures and the stuff is so nice. It’s not just an Treehouse it is a must have experience when you are in bali!😍
