Apartment vacation rentals in Gili Air

Nous avons choisis ce logement pour notre lune de miel, tout était parfait. Tant le cadre que le service ou la localisation. On a eu droit tout les jours à un déjeuner parfait avec un service plus qu’agréable. C’est bien simple, nous nous sommes senties réellement chez nous et on a été reçues à la perfection. Le service est réactif pour tout, au moindre soucis, ils trouvent une solution ; de nombreux services sont proposés sur place comme la laundry, des excursions snorkeling sur les trois îles, des vélos en location, … tout ce que vous chercher, vous le trouverez dans ce logement! Et le petit plus est que la piscine est assez isolée de la route, bien que ce soit une piscine commune, nous n’avons aucuns regard sur nous des différents touristes contrairement à la plupart des logements sur l’île. Le seul petit côté négatif si il faut en trouver un est que le logement n’est pas très bien isolé mais il est reculé du bruit donc ce n’est pas tellement dérangeant.

Central location and easy to reach everything- you walk out the door and there is the sea in front of the property.

Joanna’s place is amazing, it was our second time there, amazing days, unforgettable cozy place, amazing kitchen and home feeling. Joanna is very kind and the staff in the villa are just all so amazing, they make you feel so good and so at home. The cleaning is very well done, with love and care. We can’t recommend enough. A perfect spot to enjoy the paradise. We will be Back soon.

Had a brilliant stay at Gili Matiki. The bed was comfortable, breakfast was delicious and every staff member was helpful and friendly! The location is nestled in a quiet area of Gili Air which was perfect for us. They were able to organise rental bikes at a good rate! 100% recommend 😊

We had a wonderful stay! The food at the on-site restaurant was excellent—fresh, tasty, and with a great variety. There’s also a convenient store right downstairs, which made everything super easy. The shared pool is beautiful and very well maintained, perfect for relaxing after a day out. The location is great too—just a short walk from the beach and close to a top-notch diving school. Highly recommended!

We loved this place. The staff was really responsive and took great care of the grounds. They were always available to drive you to the shopping or get you what you needed. We actually had staff offer to go to the store for us. The room was cleaned daily and was pristine for paint etc. The view of the ocean was so nice with the pool as a great option. Definately worth the money.

We stayed here for a week while my partner learned Scuba diving in town. The apartment was very spacious, the views all around were very beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked and the front desk was very accommodating & friendly! The beds were the most comfortable beds we've had since arriving in Bali which was a big plus for us. If you're sensitive to sound then I suggest sleeping in the room by the kitchen as the front room is by the road. However, the road noise stops around 11pm which is fine for us & it really isnt that loud from the apartment. You have access to the roof top which was nice in the evenings to overlook the town. So many restaurants & coffee shops are walkable but there are plenty of taxis to take you further or scooter rentals that have drop off as well. The beach is quite literally across the road and down an alley to access! Enjoyed our stay, would recommend.

I found this location great, right on the beachfront with a great view, very peaceful. I only stayed for one night but I wish it could have been longer. Hosts were very responsive and able to help and offered bbq and kayak which we used and throughly enjoyed. Will definitely be back. 10/10 one of the best air bnbs I’ve had the pleasure of staying in.

I wish I knew about Ayu’s place earlier; I would’ve stayed there a LOT longer! Breezy and home-y, this Airbnb is on the second floor with a killer view of Mount Agung—there’s plenty of visual privacy. I feel truly on vacation at Ayu’s place. As other guests noted, make sure to bring earplugs with you to Amed—pretty much none of the centrally located accommodations is immune from the combination of speeding motorcyclists, karaoke singing tourists, barking dogs, and crowing roosters.

Wir hatten insgesamt einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die Gastgeberin war sehr herzlich und gastfreundlich, und das Personal vor Ort stets freundlich und hilfsbereit – dafür ein großes Dankeschön! Ein paar Dinge könnten verbessert werden: Der Duschkopf war leider defekt, sodass das Wasser aus mehreren Stellen kam und das Bad beim Duschen nass wurde. Außerdem war die Unterkunft etwas schwer zu finden, da sie auf Google Maps nicht sichtbar war und es keine Beschilderung am Eingang gab. Abgesehen davon haben wir uns wohlgefühlt und die Unterkunft als sauber und erlebt. Die Umgebung war atemberaubend und der Blick auf die Berge beeindruckend. Vielen Dank nochmals für die freundliche Aufnahme!

I stayed here for two nights and honestly, it was fantastic—I enjoyed every single moment! The place was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. But what truly made the experience exceptional was the incredible hospitality, especially from one of the staff members, Kadek. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. From helping with laundry, arranging drivers, recommending great places to eat, organizing food delivery, and much more—he was always there with a smile and a solution. Kadek is an absolute legend and a big reason why my stay was so enjoyable. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great service, comfort, and a genuinely warm experience. Would definitely come back!

L'appartement est très mignon et bien aménagé surtout la cuisine pour les long séjour. La salle de bain est spacieuse avec de l'eau chaude. L'emplacement est parfait pour la plongée. Vous avez les centres de plongée et la plage à 5 minutes à pieds ainsi que restaurant et magasin d' alimentation. Gede est une personne très agréable et serviable. Le prix est vraiment intéressant. Si je reviens encore pour un long séjour c'est avec plaisir que je reviendrai ici.

Partiamo dal proprietario Nyoman che è uno spettacolo, ci ha procurato i motorini, prenotato la barca per lo snorkeling, ci è venuto a prendere e ci ha inoltre portato a padang Bai a prendere la barca per Gili. Una persona di una disponibilità rara. La villa è molto bella, finita da 2 mesi con 2 camere grandi e spaziose ognuna con bagno indipendente, cucina e tavolo a bordo piscina, insomma non manca nulla. La posizione è molto vicina alla spiaggia, circa 200 metri a piedi ma non è centrale, è fuori dalla zona principale di Amed, questo comunque regala un'atmosfera di relax unica, vi passerà la voglia di andare al ristorante per cena. La strada per raggiungerla ha gli ultimi 100 metri sterrati ma nulla ché non si possa fare tranquillamente in motorino. In sintesi se capitate ad Amed e state cercando un soggiorno tranquillo e confortevole questa villa fa al caso vostro.

Beautiful hotel that is bit tricky to locate. The staff is super nice and friendly, room was super clean the view is amazing!

Es ist eine sehr schöne Unterkunft inmitten von Reisfeldern. Die Lage hätte nicht schöner sein können. Wir konnten vom Bett aus, die Reisfelder sehen. Auf der Dachterasse hatte man einen tollen Ausblick auf den Sonnenuntergang. Die Unterkunft ist perfekt. Die Begrüßung erfolgte persönlich durch den Gastgeber, welcher uns auch während unseres gesamten Aufenthaltes sehr geholfen hat. Leider kam meine Freundin bereits krank an, woraufhin er direkt los ging und Medikamente holte. Als sie dann zum Arzt musste, fuhr er uns mit seinem Auto ins nahegelegenen Krankenhaus. Er blieb die gesamte Zeit mit im Krankenhaus, um dort alles weitere zu regeln. Für all das, wollte er kein Geld. Wir haben selten einen so herzlichen Menschen kennengelernt.

We are very happy we chose this place. The pictures accurately show a modern, beautiful, clean, and impeccably-designed property. We still can’t get over how good the food was. The menu selection is large and several items were the best that I’ve had in my entire life—like the French toast, pancakes, strawberry-banana chia smoothie, coconut-crusted tuna, and Basque Cheesecake. The grilled fish was always perfect and I really liked their Indonesian sambal matah style. The staff is professional, friendly, and will go out of their way to make sure anything you need is taken care of (transportation, private yoga, massage, money exchange, room service, etc.). It’s nice to stay at a quiet, peaceful place like this compared to the noise, traffic, and exhaust pollution in the touristy areas. If you like to dive, this property is conveniently near Bali’s best diving sites.
